I can’t believe I’m hearing that DINOSAUR isn’t worth the wait. That was actually in my top 5 rides of Disney World, just the thrill it gives me being chased by a dinosaur is so worth it to me personally
The Tiwari Jurassic Park is my favorite movie franchise of all time, but Dinosaur is a MUCH better ride.. The animatronics and thrills are way better than the JP ride.. JP looks dated, Dinosaur still feels fresh imo
Scott D'Errico well, technically, they stopped the Yeti because it was literally going to tear down the structure of the ride if it kept in motion lmao
That I did know. The fact that Disney won't spend the money to repair a key Animatronic effect of the ride is what lead to my comment as Steve mentioned whether Disney threw a good portion of the ride budget into the Shaman.
Soarin' is amazing. Don't miss it because of what was said in this episode. When you get to the front of the line, ask the cast member to seat you in section B, row 1. If it's already full, wait for one more round. As Charles said, it's only an extra 3ish minutes. If you've already invested 60-90 minutes in line, you'll be glad you waited an extra 3 for great seats.
I actually rode Dinosaur on standby, and I guess I hit it early in the day on a weekday, but it wasn't a bad wait at all. The posted wait was 30 minutes, but with the pre-show it felt like it was nearly a walk-on. Well worth it.
im going tommorow wednesday is the best day for animal kingdom everyone will be at magic kingdom for extra magic hours so its perfect for animal kingdom
Normally I would completely agree. I visit Disney World once a year and know I will experience these rides once again. However, when I was there in October, I rode Flight of Passage in Animal Kingdom for the first time. The longest I had ever waited for a ride in Disney or anywhere was 75 minutes for Soarin’ when it got the new movie in 2016. In October I felt Flight of Passage was so exceptional that my family including my then 8 year old sister decided it was completely worth it to wait 3 hours for a 2nd ride. Flight of Passage is my favorite ride in Disney World and was completely worth that wait
Idt any ride is worth more than a 45 minute wait. Thats why I go for rope drop because 9-11 there is rarely any wait. And especially some rides that break down constantly can add 30-45 minutes to your wait. Happened to me at space mountain and I had a fast pass 😒.
Barnstormer should have been on your list. Only worth doing if it is a literal walk on. 30 second ride if you take out the lift hill. I agree that Astro Orbiter is not worth waiting in a long line for, but don't think it deserves all the hate you give it. It provides unique views of the Magic Kingdom and is fun (though short). Also, unlike other rides that we all love to hate (Stitch, Swiss Family, etc...) it doesn't take up space that could be better used for another ride. Where it sits atop the food service, its a bonus ride that absorbs a little bit of the crowd.
On my last visit to WDW, my traveling party and I got to the MK an hour before it opened and waited for rope drop. We walk directly onto the Peter Pan, Space Mountain, Astro Orbiter, and Buzz Lightyear attractions. We had ridden every one of these by the end of our first hour in the park. We had a FP for the mine train for the second hour in the park and did not wait long at all. Getting there for rope drop is so much better than waiting in a long line in the hot Florida sun.
@@Seroxm13 It means getting there at before the park actually opens, to be able to get in before most other people start arriving. The reason it's called that, is because, there's a physical rope that they drop to let people into the park.
Peter Pan's flight was Walt's personal favorite attraction. That is the sole reason the wait time is so long. People love to go on it because it is quite literally a piece of Walt himself.
Glenn Turner That would be the Disneyland version of the ride Walt rode, which is 1000 times better than the WDW version. I love PPF in DL, but hate it in MK...completely not worth any wait.
The one in Walt Disney World was -- originally -- a scene for scene clone on the Disneyland one. When they remodeled and expanded Fantasyland, they made slight changes to PPF and shortened it, which does suck. However, it is still an abbreviated version of Walt's creation, and so is still a part of him.
I think it's long because the capacity is really short. It's in a really small corner and the flying ships don't hold lots of people. It's always been one of the longest lines in the Magic Kingdom, I think because the capacity is just too small and the demand is too high and it can't take as many people at any one time. That being said, the new queue that they've added at the Magic Kingdom has made the Peter Pan a little more bearable and is actually beautiful what they've done with the queue theming there and at the Winnie the Pooh ride.
I can't imagine waiting that long for the Navi boat ride. When I was there over the summer, it was basically a walk-on because everyone was in line for Flight of Passage instead. Ended up riding it twice because there was no line either time.
I'm sorry, but the Navi River was the biggest disappointment from my last trip. Other than the shaman - who is given no story or purpose in the ride - the effects are really cheap. Maybe if James Cameron would quit stalling for time and make that second movie, they could rework it into something good. As it stands, it's really dull.
I remember Peter Pans Flight (Disneyland) when I was a kid (1963), I loved it then, and because of the memories then, I still love it today! Like the Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, I just feel 10 again!
Soarin’ is my all-time favorite Disney attraction! I remember when that opened when I was a teenager and I was just completely awestruck. I don’t care where I sit, although I do prefer to not see people’s feet from above me.
The only ride I've waited over an hour to go on was Tower of Terror, all other rides that I love I use FastPasses or they are the first rides I go to when a park opens
I love Peter Pan, but I got to agree...it’s not worth waiting a long time like small world imo. It’s not handicap accessible and it ends really quickly, and unlike other classic rides, it hasn’t really aged well. I still love it but I can’t say it’s worth waiting more than 20 minutes especially if you’re disabled.
Symmetra's Wife The wait time for Peter Pan here out in Disneyland is horrible! Always a super-long line and the queue is super-cramped and stuffy. Even at rope drop it’s like a 30 minute and up wait and I believe the ride only clocks in under 2 minutes...totally not worth it.
Well at least you guys have a cool queue to go through, here in Disneyland we have a bunch of rows that go up into the building that has no detail inside, and the wait is usually 45 minutes or more.
IMO no ride is worth 2+ hours. Even my favorite ride I will skip if it’s that long. And also I agree with all of these including Peter Pan. Not worth the wait, at all.
The first time I road Dinosaur I was shocked. Standing in the line was so boring and I thought I was going to ride through a gross educational ride with Bill Nye, but I was actually mortified. I don't get scared, ever.. But I was so taken back and didn't expect what I was about to get on, therefore I thought it was awesome. Definitely need to change the queue though
The thing I didn't like about Dinosaur is that it was SO LOUD! I haven't been on it since 2011 (it was down in October of 2016), so I don't know if they changed anything, but I actually plugged my ears.
I've noticed that because Dinosaur's height limit is low, and it's about dinosaurs, lots of people take little kids on it and they get scared out of their minds. The notice at the front isn't, I guess, quite effective enough at making clear that this is actually a scary thrill ride. The toothy animatronics, loud noises, darkness and energetic motion all combine to make children cry.
Best- Tower of Terror, Toy Story Midway Mania, Pirates of the Caribbean, Expedition: EVEREST, Flight of Passage Worst- Rock 'n' Rollercoaster, Soarin', Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Space Mountain (music in that queue is great though), Kilimanjaro Safaris
Navi River is definitely my #1, but Frozen is a close second. The line is always an hour (generally 2), and the way the queue winds around makes it feel even longer. The animatronics are nice, but they can't make up for the old and noisy mechanisms (or the inevitable off-key riders who sing louder than the stereo). It's a FP+ or nothing, as far as I'm concerned.
As a spoiled local adult passholder (which I am), the points made are very good. Especially Navi, ASTRO, People Mover, Rapids Soarin, to name a few. As a vacationer who only goes once or twice in their lives, most of the rides mentioned are worth it. It's about the kids people.
Mickey is my Spirit Animal Disney Land opened when the Interstate system was extremely new and the ride was apparently supposed to represent the interstate system so it probably felt futuristic then. When Disney World was being designed the interstate system still wasn't fully complete and it was apprently a popular attraction at Disney World so they put it in Disney World as well. It's an extremely outdated ride now though, there's nothing special about it now.
TheLammchop I agree, I went 3 months after it opened with a fast pass and after I did it I was completely underwhelmed. At that time it was 190 min wait I believe and I wanted to tell every person in line it wasn’t worth it.
I’ve never seen dinosaur at a longer wait time then 30 minutes and I love it lol. It’s one of my favorite things. I love the museum, the story, phylicia rashad. Plus the indoor waiting area is a nice change if it’s hot outside or raining.
I totally agree with their 4. My dissenting one is Kali River Rapids. I've been on several of the same style rides at different parks and Kali ranks near the bottom.
Kali River Rapids isn't my favorite raft ride--Popeye and Bluto at Universal is way more fun--but one thing it does have is maybe the most beautifully themed queue at Disney World. I almost don't care waiting for it because the line is so nice.
Love Kali, but it’s gone downhill. They used to have fire on part of it and you could feel the heat. They used to have a big bin in the middle where you could put your stuff so it had more of a chance to stay dry.
I think doing that and updating it will make it so much better. Right now, the cars break down all the time and, like most of tomorrow land, looks super dated (the speedway probably being the worst). But having futuristic electric cars would bring it into the future and tie it in with the Tron Coaster.
Astro Orbiter is a great attraction. I've only ridden it once and don't care to ride it again, but I'd hate to see it go. What's good about it is how it looks from a distance.
I liked most of the rides they picked here. The boat ride in Pandora is obviously beautiful inside. I agree that Peter Pan always gets a long wait, and isn't worth it if you are short in time. Likewise the Seven Dwarf's Mine Train in Magic Kingdom is also a long wait not worth it, unless you haven't been there. I like the Tomorrowland Speedway. That's worth it for me. The wait time is never that long. Also, I'm a fan of the Astro Orbiter. It's fun. It takes you up an elevator. You get great views. The line isn't usually even that long, although, it's just the loading process that takes long. It's a memorable experience. Toy Story Mania is my pick for worst ride, not just in terms of wait time, but just in general. That's basically like a tablet game and the wait time can be really long. The theming is pretty cool, but I"m not a fan of the whole ride concept itself. It seems lazy and it's very small and just represents Disney being cheap and not actually building a ride that could have had more substance. It was built during the recession. I'd rather have a dark ride in there or something else.
To me, nothing is worth more than an hour wait at WDW. That's a big chunk to take out of your trip and you're probably not missing that much if you don't do it. Plus, the best rides and the classics (people mover, pirates, haunted mansion, everest, spaceship earth, tower of terror, etc.) don't typically get that long. You can skip Mine Train, Soarin', Frozen, and Toy Story Mania for sure. The only Disney attraction I've ever felt a long wait was worth it was Camp Discovery Challenge Trails at Shanghai Disneyland TBH.
My controversial pick would be Space Mountain. I’ve ridden it by walk-on and it was fine. The darkness and the not knowing of where you’re turning next is a nice spin to an average thrill-coaster, but the waitlines are insane. Last time I went to MK the line never was below the 3 hours and I think that’s insane. I would wait 3 hours for Flight of Passage, but for Space Mountain 90 minutes is my maximum.
I waited 4.5 hours for Tower of Terror the day before it closed in Disneyland (they were no longer offering Fastpasses). And while I might have passed through all the stages of grief while I was waiting, I still think it was worth it!
So Pete doesn't think Peter Pan should be on the list, but then claims he won't wait the 1h in standby, he MUST get a fast pass? Honestly, I'd like to hear what the "max standby" everyone would wait for the attractions. I've been past Astro Orbiter, and seen a 15m wait, and i'd do it. but after say 30m, no thanks.
I rode Flights of Passage over the summer and simply adored it, and desperately wanted to ride it again before my group left Animal Kingdom. However, I wouldn't go unless the wait was an hour and a half or under. I might have bumped it up to two hours if it hadn't been mid-August and humid, and I have a tendency to pass out when I stand for too long and get overheated. Never did go on again.
You guys spoke my mind about Na'vi River Journey! 100% agree with Sean, Peter Pan's Flight wait time is ridiculous for what it is. Also agree with Charles. I went on it before it had the refurb and it was horrible. Eiffel tower looking like a noodle and intoxicated elephant made me laugh though! Test Track is so worth the wait IMO, love that ride and I'd wait days for Dinosaur!
Emma Henderson Dinosaur and Test Track are so worth the wait, but I really wish Na'vi River Journey was shorter. It's just as long or longer than Flight of Passage. I'll stick to Flight of Passage
My girlfriend and I used the single-rider line for Test Track... only like a 5 minute wait, skipped the car designing area, and still got to sit in the same coaster as each other for the ride!
I absolutely loved the Na'vi River Journey, but indeed, it is a short ride, and no, I would not stand in line for two hours, or even one hour for it. Anything much beyond half an hour would be too long. Same for 7 Dwarfs. It is fun, it is visually attractive, but it isn't worth standby. Either use FP+, or ride it during EMM. Astro Orbiter, my son loved it when he was little, didn't matter how long the line was. The speedway, kids go nuts for it. I have had to stand in that line for 45 minutes with my son, though we usually are able to get there early before the line is long, or grab an additional FP for it. For sure I don't think it is worth a long wait.
I spent a FastPass on Tomorrowland Speedway because my daughter considered it mandatory. She'll stand in line for that long just for the little race-car ride at Canobie Lake Park (which is actually one of the most insanely long lines at Canobie, because it's right at the front of the park and every little kid wants to do it).
I'm right there with you . . . my son is 14 now, and he and I used FP+ last summer for the speedway. I don't know if he will still feel that attracted to it this summer, but he certainly did last year, and it is one of those rides you either have to do first thing in the morning, or use FP+, otherwise you stand in line for 40 minutes.
A few weeks ago went on PETER PAN with fast pass, such a quick ride, the music wasn’t very loud, you could see all the black curtains and excited signs , really bad. Not worth the wait. Dinosaur though I always love
Great show! I agree with everyone except Steve's Test Track, but I don't have Radiator Springs or the old version to compare it to. My young kids didn't mind waiting an hour for it. Being able to design your car before the ride is awesome!
if you are someone who goes to Disney a lot and is willing to miss the fireworks for one night, I would recommend going on Astro orbiter during the fireworks or during the night time. the line is significantly shorter and it is really pretty during the night time
I loved Seven Dwarfs Mind Train but I didn't wait anywhere close to a long time for it. All week long it was close to a two-hour wait every time we checked so we kept saying we would do it when it was less busy. It was our last day so we waited until the firework show started and then got in line. It is that simple and it was a 20-minute wait. And when we got on the ride the fireworks started as we went up the hill. It was magical.
a good tip is watch the app for wait times. We rode Na'vi river late in the day and only waited 20 mins. On the app it came up and temp closed. That is the best time to head to a popular ride. People will end up leaving the line and you can move up quickly. The key is to keep an eye on the app and make sure it doesn't change to closed.
Navi River, Peter Pan, Astro Orbiters/Dumbo, Dwarves Mine Train, and Tommorland Speedway are my picks. DINOSAUR is one of my favorite rides but i wouldn't wait long for it.
When I went to MK, it was like 7:30pm in a long summer day and I rode Peter Pan and seven dwarfs mine train under an hour. You just have to be in the line at the right time.
I agree with all except Soarin and Dinosaur. But then every time I went on Soarin it was a fast pass. Whenever they changed Test Track in 2012 they made the cars with less leg room. Before the change I was able to ride the ride with no issues. This past October I was stuck in the back and my knees were jammed in against the back of the front seat. After getting off my left knee was bleeding from a skin being pulled apart. Years ago I rode it and had no issues. I am only 6'1 so it isn't like I am extremely tall.
I went to Disney a few weeks ago with my brother and grandparents, and the longest time we waited for a ride was 45 minutes for the haunted mansion, which was soooo worth it. We went on all of the rides you mentioned except the Tomorrowland speedway (gag) and anything in the animal kingdom (we didn’t go there on our trip) and they were all 30 minutes or less. I was so surprised when we got on the 7 dwarves mine train in like 25 minutes!! Great video as always, guys
totally agree with the Peter Pan being not worth it. I get that people like how the city looks so small, you get pretty close, you're hanging from above, however I actually think it looks cheap. They need to just need to update it a little bit and I think the hour + wait will be fine then. It's a classic ik ik, but I cannot see how the line is actually that long. Only time I ever ride it is when I have a fast pass or when the night firework show is going on and everyone isn't at the rides
xctf The E.T Adventure at universal has the same city effect and barely ever has a wait. In my opinion, it is also more visually pleasing than Peter Pan and it has a stronger narrative. It’s also a much longer ride.
That’s exactly why I always get fastpasses for Navi River Journey and not FoP! FoP’s queue is so intricate and nuanced that the wait goes by so quickly. For River Journey you wait almost equally as long (or sometimes even longer) for a ride with a less immersive queue. Since I consider both of these rides a MUST DO on my vacations, a River Journey fastpass is necessary!
Hello - I so agree with your 1st selection. This was a helpful presentation. Snow White Mine Train is a very entertaining ride but - in order for the 'wait' to be worth it to anyone - your target audience may be someone on vacation and not a regular visitor to Walt Disney World. Once ridden however - the 'wait' is just not worth it!!
I completely agree with most of these, but especially Peter Pan. I heard so much hype about this ride before my first ever trip and it was honestly boring as a little kid. Only one I really disagree with is Test Track. It's my favorite ride at Epcot, and the single rider line moves very fast. I also probably wouldn't put Soarin on the list but that line does get way longer than it should be in the middle of the day.
I wish you guys could put someone on the show with the perspective of growing up close to the parks and been going to WDW since the 1970s.Id love to be a guest on this show!
I agree with Peter Pan and Soarin'. We sat in the middle of Soarin' and our boys liked it, but it was not worth the wait time, putting aside the whole angle issue.
Thank god you pointed that out about the astro orbiter being so freakin small and no one telling you. My husband really wanted us to ride together and since im small and hes tall they said we would fit but oh lord they smashed us in there, def the worst feeling. I would love it turned into ANYTHING else.
You can get multiple FastPasses for Dinosaur on the same day, even without one reserved days in advance. There are almost always Fast Passes for it available even at a 30 or 40 minute wait :)
I went on Minetrain for the first time last June and couldn’t help but think, “Is that it? Is that really what all the fuss is about?” Glad I had been able to get a fast pass for it. Can’t say I’ll go on it again until the wait times go down or I have my own kids someday and they want to ride it.
Mine train needed to be more thrilling and have more indoor stuff... like splash mountain😍 which is one of my favorites it's long enough thrilling but not too much it's just perfect, River ride is too short and needs drops or something to make it more interesting ... again like Piriates which also is wonderful they need to go back and start doing rides right again another one Big thunder mountain it's awesome they need more rides that are worth the Disney name and price tag! Disney needs to combine the classic amazing rides I mentioned with the innovation and genius of the Harry Potter rides at Universal..... now that would be worthy of Disney, the waits, and money!! Just my opinion. Love this channel guys keep up the fantastic work!!! 😎
The Navi river was cool for the first time but I would never wait for it. When I went on it it was right after it opened after breaking down so it was only like a 15min wait
I know no one said it, but I love the ride so much, I would wait 3 hours to ride Expedition Everest that is the best ride out of every single park at Disney World
I totally agree on Navi'i River Journey. If it's less than 30 min. OK but if longer, no way! Others I think are Kali River Rapids, Journey Into Imagination (really never much of a wait anyway), ASTRO Orbiter, Tomorrowland Speedway, and Pirates of the Caribbean.
People will think I'm crazy, but I would never wait again for the Frozen ride in Norway. When the ride was over (or starting?) our boats bumped. My husband and I each had a mini whiplash feeling and my back was sore the next day. Maybe this was a freak thing that never usually happens. I also found the images projected on Anna and Elsa's faces a little weird.
Bryan that is a good idea. I would like to see one on best and worst uses for fastpasses for families in particular. though that might be one they should put out as a poll.
It wasn't that bad really, we had FP for both Frozen and Na'vi river journey. Granted, I booked mine the first day it was available to do so. If you're trying to do it on the app the day of your visit it's not happening.
Great job Team! I concur, with Pete!TOMMOROWLAND SPEEDWAY has GOT TO GO!! The car is extremely uncomfortable and the fumes are overkill!! WDW needs to build Radiator Springs, like that of Disneyland, in its place! 🚗 🚙 🚗 🏎🚕🚙🚗🚜🚛🚓🚙🚕🏎🚓🚚🚓
So many of these rides are just not worth the wait but for someone who has little kids most of these rides (all that were talked about) it’s just everything for them. I’m there not just for me but for my kids.
do peter pan first. walk in and go to the back of the park. in peak season you can walk on little mermaid, peter pan, the carousel, and small world. fast pass the mine train and youve done the major portion of an entire section of the park in about an hour->hour and a half. Skip winnie the pooh.
With the 7 dwarves mine train, for me it was worth it, our family had a fast pass on it, and we waited ~20 minutes. We were nice to the person at the end that she let us on again right after. So if I had to wait for an hour and ride once, I wouldn't think it's worth it. Peter Pan is really great, however, I was able to walk on every time I've been on it so Idk about the wait. I think Soarin' isn't bad on the sides especially with the renovation recently. I got the Left view, and the Eiffel tower was a bit curved, but the rest of it seems normal and it looks greatly improved versus the original screen. The Test Track build your car and compete minigame is so much fun. I think the beginning is pretty slow, but it is very fun anyways. Dinosaur is one of my favorites. I would wait in a line that is less than an hour. I would say it is the scariest Disney World ride and it never fails to thrill me. It gets my adrenaline going everytime I see that video because I know whats coming up. Good list, I don't agree with everything.
On Tomorrowland Speedway, while it needs an overhaul to switch to electric cars so the fumes go away, for kids to drive a car for the first time is priceless. It is such a big thing for little kidseven if they are bouncing left to right to left to right LOL
My daughter worked at Speedway, and she said it is surprisingly popular. It is almost a rite of passage for parents who rode it as a child to see their own children drive a car at Speedway. She said whenever they broke down, people were irate.
I enjoy Thunder Mountain more than the Mine Train ride and it's always much less of a wait! I also am very unimpressed with the new Soarin' movie and don't even bother to try for a FP anymore.
No ride is worth 3-4 hours wait period...but I will say Flight Of Passage is the first ride worth a 2 hour wait IMO. As far as the rest of the rides none of them are worth more than 30-1hour if that. That could be that we go at least 2 times (sometimes 3) a year, so waiting for the same old Ride is not worth it.
It seems like all of the newer rides are shorter now. I loved the old EPCOT because the rides were longer. I miss Horizons most of all, but World of Motion was so much fun too.
Definitely agree with the Soarin’ 👎. I’ve been on the originals at both WDW & Disneyland. Was in “A” seating at WDW and was disappointed with the ride. Will try again for “B” seating and see if I feel the same.
Totally agree with Charles's pick. The old Soarin' was totally worth the wait but the new one is terrible and after riding the new Around the World version this last trip I will not ride it ever again unless I have a fastpass and even then I don't know if I'd waste it. I would have gladly waited an hour for Soarin' Over California but the new one is barely worth riding at all with the terrible distortions.
Our family has been to WDW about three times between 2006-15. We had no family "breakdowns" over long line issues. It seem that it wasn't problem so much then.
Waited 2hrs & 45 mins for FOP back in October, good ride but thats way too long to wait, fortunately i walked straight onto the navi river journey before the park closed so i was very happy i got to do both rides.
I don’t go to Disney World much, but as far as Disneyland, I totally agree that Peter Pan is not worth it. The line is always over an hour and then it lasts like a minute. It’s so short! It’s pretty, but so not worth it.
Veronica Lloyd I’ve only been to Disneyland, and I won’t wait long for Peter Pan, but Toads Wild Ride is always a super long wait and I would never wait for that, I’d go for Peter Pan over it because at least it’s something different!
Totally agree with the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. It doesn’t feel so much different from other roller coasters and it’s very short. I would have preferred the original Snow White ride had stayed
Gotta say that while I do kinda agree about the wait time not being worth it for Peter Pan, I'd like to veto any complaints about characters not being featured in the dark rides. Walt wanted the dark rides to be seen from the perspective OF the main character, so that you as a rider WERE the main characters. The public took poorly to this but I personally think it's absolutely adorable.
I remember when the Speedway had two hour wait times. After 3 holidays to WDW (about 6 years later) the ride finally had a bearable queue, and man I was disappointed.
I love the entire world of Pandora. I would wait forever for the ride just because I'm so immersed in taking pictures and taking in all of the rest of the world to notice the wait time.
I can’t believe I’m hearing that DINOSAUR isn’t worth the wait. That was actually in my top 5 rides of Disney World, just the thrill it gives me being chased by a dinosaur is so worth it to me personally
I agree! I loved it!
I love that ride too
I think Dinosaur is a perfect day capper for Animal Kingdom!
Epic PHail problem is: it doesn’t compare to the Jurassic Park ride
The Tiwari Jurassic Park is my favorite movie franchise of all time, but Dinosaur is a MUCH better ride.. The animatronics and thrills are way better than the JP ride.. JP looks dated, Dinosaur still feels fresh imo
When the Shaman breaks down will Disney just flash a strobe light at her like the Yeti on Expedition Everest? Prepare for Disco Shaman.
I just laughed out loud. I hope not...
Scott D'Errico lol
@@SDErrico2010 the whole budget was to that shaman at the very end lol
Soarin' is amazing. Don't miss it because of what was said in this episode. When you get to the front of the line, ask the cast member to seat you in section B, row 1. If it's already full, wait for one more round. As Charles said, it's only an extra 3ish minutes. If you've already invested 60-90 minutes in line, you'll be glad you waited an extra 3 for great seats.
Jen Noricks that ride is AMAZING! one of the few main reasons i liked epcot!
Jen Noricks Agree, Soarin’ is absolutely fantastic, and the new Soarin’ is AMAZING
In my opinion NO ride is worth a 3+ hour wait.
I would wait 3 hours for a 1 minute ride through the orange grove of HORIZONS.
Then you should work on your patience
Honestly, I would chill in a line for 12 hours straight if it meant I could ride Horizons again :(
Barnstormer should have been on your list.
Where it sits atop the food service, its a bonus ride that absorbs a little bit of the crowd.
m badcatwhite I agree, Astro Orbiter is what it is
Barnstormer never really has a long wait. The whole point of this episode was rides not worth the long wait.
Literally couldn’t have said it better myself
On my last visit to WDW, my traveling party and I got to the MK an hour before it opened and waited for rope drop. We walk directly onto the Peter Pan, Space Mountain, Astro Orbiter, and Buzz Lightyear attractions. We had ridden every one of these by the end of our first hour in the park. We had a FP for the mine train for the second hour in the park and did not wait long at all. Getting there for rope drop is so much better than waiting in a long line in the hot Florida sun.
what time of year were you there?
diamondjoe1109 We were there the third week of July, 2017.
What does rope drop mean?
@@Seroxm13 It means getting there at before the park actually opens, to be able to get in before most other people start arriving. The reason it's called that, is because, there's a physical rope that they drop to let people into the park.
@@megelizabeth9492 thank you! 😊
That being said, the new queue that they've added at the Magic Kingdom has made the Peter Pan a little more bearable and is actually beautiful what they've done with the queue theming there and at the Winnie the Pooh ride.
keyman 66 Sorry, but Peter Pan is much much better at WDW, where you will find the unique interactive queue. The best version out there is in Shanghai
As it stands, it's really dull.
exactly, thank you!
Pete was right. It is Pirates without the charm!
I really like it!
I remember Peter Pans Flight (Disneyland) when I was a kid (1963), I loved it then, and because of the memories then, I still love it today! Like the Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, I just feel 10 again!
The speedway that crashes you into the rail in the centre over and over again lol, who can forget the joy of that.
No Ride should be worth a 3-4HR Wait!
MrRobbruckner Tower of Terror is the only one worth waiting over an hour for to me. It is my favorite ride.
Glad to see Pete’s back
I didn’t see his back.
Symmetra's Wife Couldnt agree more I love Peter Pan but we waited about 2 hours to ride and it was dreadful
DisneyAndSo MuchMore its a small world i didnt even bother with, heard the song on other vlogs and that is enough to make me not want to go on it
Well at least you guys have a cool queue to go through, here in Disneyland we have a bunch of rows that go up into the building that has no detail inside, and the wait is usually 45 minutes or more.
IMO no ride is worth 2+ hours. Even my favorite ride I will skip if it’s that long. And also I agree with all of these including Peter Pan. Not worth the wait, at all.
Oh, I forgot. I do not agree with Test Track. Always worth the wait to me (if it’s under 2 hours which I don’t think I’ve ever seen).
I waited 2 and a half hours for the Seven Dwarfs Mine train. What do you think of that?
Wish this had come out before I wasted an hour and a half waiting for the Navi Poo Poo Canoe in August:(
It really says something when the line you wait in for an hour on Peter Pan is better than the real ride right now.
So, you didn't know it was gonna be a scary dinosaur ride?
The thing I didn't like about Dinosaur is that it was SO LOUD! I haven't been on it since 2011 (it was down in October of 2016), so I don't know if they changed anything, but I actually plugged my ears.
I've noticed that because Dinosaur's height limit is low, and it's about dinosaurs, lots of people take little kids on it and they get scared out of their minds. The notice at the front isn't, I guess, quite effective enough at making clear that this is actually a scary thrill ride. The toothy animatronics, loud noises, darkness and energetic motion all combine to make children cry.
Top 5 best and worst queue lines please!
Any queue line with no-shade or Air Conditioning
5 best- haunted mansion, tower of terror, expedition everest, mine train, flights of passage. 5 worst-kilimanjaro safaris, jungle cruise, splash mountain, test track, tomorrowland speedway
It's a FP+ or nothing, as far as I'm concerned.
hahahahahaha! Pete talking about Speedway: "They could put grass in there and it would be more appealing to me."
I have just recently found y’all. I am really loving your videos!!! Keep em’ coming!
As a spoiled local adult passholder (which I am), the points made are very good. Especially Navi, ASTRO, People Mover, Rapids Soarin, to name a few.
As a vacationer who only goes once or twice in their lives, most of the rides mentioned are worth it. It's about the kids people.
The Tomorrowland Speedway and DinoLand USA don't even look like they belong at Disney.
Matthew Hennig, I concur! Moreover, what is so futuristic about a speedway anyway? 🚀🛰🏎🤣🤔
Dinoland does, It's the Tacky Dinorama that doesn't
Matthew Hennig I really dislike the sppedway and would never do it but I like that it eats up crowd and makes everything else shorter lines
Matthew Hennig agree but I'd include Pandora
How did nobody say frozen in Norway
TheLammchop I agree, I went 3 months after it opened with a fast pass and after I did it I was completely underwhelmed. At that time it was 190 min wait I believe and I wanted to tell every person in line it wasn’t worth it.
how tf do you get a fastpass on that thats some extreme luck
PuppyProductions When you go solo you can get into pretty much anywhere without a wait 😁 but I still wouldn’t waste time on Frozen again lol
i agree with this comment so much.
TheLammchop frozen was not a bad ride. People just hate frozen overall, and Na’vi river journey is not bad neither
Why can't they just make Tomorrowland Speedway Electric like in Hong Kong?
There are rumors that that's coming.
And get Tesla to sponsor it!
I think doing that and updating it will make it so much better. Right now, the cars break down all the time and, like most of tomorrow land, looks super dated (the speedway probably being the worst). But having futuristic electric cars would bring it into the future and tie it in with the Tron Coaster.
I've heard that they already have the electric cars from another park and that it will get refurbishment.
Money. All the gas cars will have to break down first
Astro Orbiter is a great attraction.
19:00 Walk into the SIMporium and design your car there, then go through single rider which usually takes 20 minutes tops during low season :)
I love the Astro Orbiter. It looks so cool, you get a great view from up there and it goes so much faster than you’d think. Great for my kids as well.
I waited 4.5 hours for Tower of Terror the day before it closed in Disneyland (they were no longer offering Fastpasses). And while I might have passed through all the stages of grief while I was waiting, I still think it was worth it!
Kylee Seitz I would wait DAYS for Tower of Terror. My favorite ride!
“Avatar the world of pandora” 😂 it’s pandora the world of avatar
I know...I can't trust someone's opinion about a ride if they can't even get the name right. Right off the bat he lost points in credibility.
To be fair, no one actually cares that much about the movie itself.
As a lifetime Florida resident, I never wait more than 30 minutes without Fastpass for any attraction no matter what even if I like it.
flight of passage waited 2 and half with 3 kids under 10 and we LOVED it
So Pete doesn't think Peter Pan should be on the list, but then claims he won't wait the 1h in standby, he MUST get a fast pass?
Dinosaur is great I don't know how he thought that
Emma Henderson Dinosaur and Test Track are so worth the wait, but I really wish Na'vi River Journey was shorter. It's just as long or longer than Flight of Passage. I'll stick to Flight of Passage
My girlfriend and I used the single-rider line for Test Track... only like a 5 minute wait, skipped the car designing area, and still got to sit in the same coaster as each other for the ride!
Na'vi River is only good for the AC
Frozen! It's not worth the 90-120 minute wait at all. I like the ride, but only with a fast pass (despite that bypassing the adorable queue).
Jamie Koser Arena I was lucky and just walked on it in january. On was disappointed on how short it was!
if you are someone who goes to Disney a lot and is willing to miss the fireworks for one night, I would recommend going on Astro orbiter during the fireworks or during the night time. the line is significantly shorter and it is really pretty during the night time
I loved Seven Dwarfs Mind Train but I didn't wait anywhere close to a long time for it.
DinoSaur was my favourite ride in Animal Kingdom! I came off absolutely crying with hysterical laughter!
I absolutely LOVE that Na'vi River Journey is the thumbnail for this video. Take my thumbs up.
Mine train I totally agree. The long is long and it breaks down often. Keep up the good work guys.
thanks for all the information you guys share
I completely agree with most of these, but especially Peter Pan. I heard so much hype about this ride before my first ever trip and it was honestly boring as a little kid.
Only one I really disagree with is Test Track. It's my favorite ride at Epcot, and the single rider line moves very fast. I also probably wouldn't put Soarin on the list but that line does get way longer than it should be in the middle of the day.
Mine would be jungle cruise. I know it's a classic but I feel it is tired and underwhelming. It needs a facelift.
Perhaps Disney isn't the place for you guys...
LMAO nuts
It depends on your captain. If you get a bad one it's a bad ride.
YES! I agree!!! Not worth it...
If I want animals, I can see them for real at Animal Kingdom.
Completely Agree with Mine Train ... so Not worth the wait
The Navi river was cool for the first time but I would never wait for it. When I went on it it was right after it opened after breaking down so it was only like a 15min wait
And the mine train I admit is not worth the wait. But it is a very fun ride just really short
Is it as long as PIrates of the Caribbean?
I agree with the Soarin part; the wait is only worth it if you get the middle seat.
I was just going to suggest you guys do a video for best and worst rides worthy of a fast pass.
Bryan that is a good idea. I would like to see one on best and worst uses for fastpasses for families in particular. though that might be one they should put out as a poll.
I 100% agree!!!!
Na'vi river journey is a fast pass ride for sure. I wouldn't wait two plus hours for it but I like it.
HAAAA..HAaa...haa... good luck with that pandora rides and the frozen ride are impossible to get on fastpass
🚗 🚙 🚗 🏎🚕🚙🚗🚜🚛🚓🚙🚕🏎🚓🚚🚓
change them to Teslas and you got yourself a little something there
So many of these rides are just not worth the wait but for someone who has little kids most of these rides (all that were talked about) it’s just everything for them.
I agree lads. Some of these rides are 1 minute wonders and not worth a 2 hour wait.
No ride in the world is worth a 2+ hour wait
Delwin Alvarez Nice stealing the comment above yours
That could be that we go at least 2 times (sometimes 3) a year, so waiting for the same old
Ride is not worth it.
Tomorrowland Speedway is basically training kids to sit in road construction and traffic.
