You wanted comments on what we did to get our boats ready for this season... so here it is. This is on a 2005 Triton TR-21X. I have made other major upgrades in previous years, but these things were done this year: This spring... I decided to invest in a brand new trailer... (not cheap). The reason for a new trailer is another story and I could write a book on it. I invested in a 36V Ionic lithium battery for my trolling motor. I upgraded my cranking battery to an X2 Group size 31from Batteries Plus. I upgraded my onboard charger to a Power Pole Charge system. While doing my initial yearly inspection (functions and mechanical inspections), I found a bad float switch on my auto bilge. Could not find one with the same hole pattern, so I went with a capacitance type (sensor type). That was a real pain to do. The bilge pumps and float switch are way down and towards the bow of the boat from the battery compartment. You have to remove almost everything in the battery compartment to get to them. This fall (after fishing season) I will be starting a new project on the boat. This will be to re-design how the battery compartment is laid out. I absolutely despise the metal plate with screws and stuff. If you have seen or worked on a Triton of this era, you will know what I am speaking of. Great vid. I may decide to bring my boat to your shop at some point. I can do most things myself, but you guys do really good work. Looking forward to seeing how the projects you guys are working on progress.

    I own a 2016 Triton
came with push-button switches
.they had so many problems with them, that they were giving free replacements that are the twist knob style

As far as my opinion on touch pad switches vs. old school switches, here is a video I made when I replaced my touch pads: czcams.com/video/nCb3b6n44sM/video.html
