I would have uploaded this run sooner but it annoyed me that you had to reload over and over to unlock it so I just did it every once in a while till I got a run 🤣they should have made it so it stays unlocked once you get it the first time.
Seriously! Or just KEEP it unlocked if yly manage to beat it -_-.
This demo only increased my hype for the game!! So pumped

It's worth it the TMP shreds Salvador easily
There’s actually a button sequence you can press in the menu that activates hard mode

Thank You!!! Soo Much!! This strategy works!! I beat it in 8mins 31secs, took a couple tries! But then I started to remember a pattern!! Salvador is easy to kill with TMP and to evade but them Ganados are no joke!!
I got this mode my 4th time playing it.. I was not ready at all.
I see Capcom kept the feature of the game giving you handgun ammo despite not having a handgun just like in the original lol.

I didn’t even know the TMP was in this demo until now LOL I was getting endlessly frustrated trying to beat mad chainsaw and I just gave up after I fumbled an attempt where I got a lucky 3rd hand grenade. I think I might try this strat… (EDIT) first try at 8:24 lmao

I found gunpower, not sure the location, which leads me to believe there may be another to combine & mix with somewhere else on the map.
There are resources to use with the gunpowder in 1 of the village shacks.
Are you forced take a lot of those hits or are their ways to avoid them
This can probably get optimized because with a new game everyone is still learning the game so no those hits and grabs are not forced.

For this mode you have to kill the Salvador and survive for 4-5 mins

I honestly doubt it; the TMP is fully upgraded in the demo. I could be wrong though.

This mode is so dumb I went over 16 minutes trying to survive and got killed anyway
So you have to kill Salvador to finish this mode?
Yep! Kill Salvador and the village sequence needs to go on for 5 mins for the bell. So let's say it takes you over 5 mins to kill Salvador, once you do the bell should ring, kill him quickly then just survive for the remaining time.

If you get it in one of your runs, you’ll find it in your inventory in subsequent runs as well
It gets auto-added to your inventory once you get it the first time! So just beat the demo with it and it's there forever :D

cool but I'm slightly worried this sets a pace for the game almost, if you're already able to beat the demo on extreme mode in 8 minutes it's probably gonna be too easy and fast paced I think, especially if you're just familiar with the original processes of the first game.
Very valid concern and criticism I see here for the first time. I was thinking how effective I already operate with the melee moves for crowd control and how characters like Wesker will amplify it. I hope they won't nerf or exclude him but how to maintain pace of gameplay and balance and fluidity of game difficulty and sufficient pressure on the player. I want to see it happen.
Yeah I had this concern when I was able to apply my strategy from the original to this fight in the village. The inconsistent stagger is the only part that is harder than in the original but everything else seems easier to manage. Hell the ganados don't throw axes as much as they used to in the original, in the remake they also seem to just sort of stare at you when you get grabbed. It's like that in the original too but it stands out more so now.
