I got rid of the Benelli for the striker because that's what I always did on the OG game and man... what a shitty decision that was. It came in clutch for one fight... which was pretty much the last fight of the game before the final boss.

The thing I love about Resident Evil series is that it never underestimate modern fire powers, unlike other zombies fictions in which modern army is just for show. Still remember the shock I had when a gigantic Tyrant that almost killed Leon, was annihilated by A-10 warthog in RE animation movie.
And then Leon was going to knife it 1v1 and would have probably won if it didn't get bombed to hell.

That’s not what it looks like at all. It looks like his shoulder is injured. Prob from a hatchet maul smashing into it a few times. He’s sore af after every boss fight it seems.

You know I going to miss the days when you have a full upgraded weapon and can one shot kill the bosses but it does add a flare to the game

I love that the gun goes fully from horizontal to vertical, and the laser sight just slightly move up a little
The laser pointers don’t line up with the guns properly at all, not on this or the handguns. It’s really annoying lol.

@@Gwynbleidd_117 yea I think it's some artistic trick with the reticle imitating a laser sight, rather it being an actual laser sight projecting from the weapon, hence why they're not grounded with each other

Shooting the killer 7 is absolutely fuckin insane, when I first tested it out the kick on it made my jaw drop. Shit actually makes you feel like you’re wielding a WMD lmao
Not sure if every gun gets Leon to cradle his shoulder like that post-combat, but it really fits him using a hand cannon like that.
I think the cradling is more of the plot with the Plagas infection, since he does it even without using magnums.

I may be wrong but the reason this weapon tops the handcannon is because you can put the laser sight on it to make it pinpoint accurate. Unlike the handcannon that has such pisspoor accuracy that it needs to be used like a shotgun.
I’d say it’s a pretty good trade-off for the superior damage and the unlimited ammo.
Also, when you have unlimited ammo for a gun, what does it matter if you miss?

@@blackwings211 broken butterfly is the strongest magnum in this remake at max level with 27 power + x1.5 power on special upgrade coming up with the total of 40.5 max power + way faster fire rate. Handcannon on the other hand have 36 max power with unli ammo special upgrade.

In the original version of RE:4 The best weapons if I recall were as follows:
Fighting Knife: your reliable Side-kick unlike Ashley, things die with this when you poke them end of story.
Handguns:
Red-9: When you can upgrade a pistol into a fluffing 9mm slug shotgun.
Blacktail: Option B if for some reason you think the Red-9 takes too much inventory space or just don't like the idea of Second Shotgun on hand??
Magnums:
Broken Butterfly: When you borrow Jack Nickleson's Joker Hand cannon. The Empress of Magnum Damage.
Killer 7 when your aim is just meh and your too lazy too aim just point and things unalive.Less dmg than B.B. but bigger mag and ease of use.
Snipers:
Stingray The Most Stable of the alloted Sniper rifles available even if it isn't the deadliest if you can rapidly blast something in the face accurately does a little less damage really matter when your trying to conserve what little ammo you own?
The Mine Launcher: for those who can't shoot worth a dook dook or you just like making things go BOOM. the Scope makes life easier.
Shotgun:
Riot Gun When you need to obliterate dook dook heads with Crowd Control aka C.C. Also every Enhancement is a PURE upgrade to the weapon's base kit which is why it classes the starting shotgun and the Drummag Striker. It's the Middle guy that isn't too far one way or the other the Baby Bear of Shotguns, just right..
I would add Striker to the list, but once you get the sweeper it'll be irrelevant plus it's overall damage per magazine is pretty low honestly. The Riot gun however will retain it's get out of my face card when your in a pinch due to it's heavy knockback and random stun effects that sometimes occurs.
Assault SMG:
Chicago Sweeper The Ultimate Middle Finger in Full-Auto. You have to EARN that Infinite Ammo Upgrade but once you do..Mwahahahahaha!
UNTIL You get the Chicago I'd recommend Maxing out the TMP as it's essentially the weaker watered down version of the Sweeper and holds the highest capacity of all guns.(as far as I'm aware anyways) The TMP is the reliable Spray and Pray.
RPG:
Rocket Launcher The One Punch Man Way to solve things.If it ain't blown to bits in the first try there's always Red variant RPG to back it up.

Yeah in the PS2 version- on my 3rd play through i saved all my Gem/treasure gold to max out my magnum and to increase weapon storage case. I invested more into the shotgun than the pistol and i used the pistol many to shoot knee caps and then German suplex for ammo free kills

I wish you could snipe enemies with the Killer 7, I noticed that it's only accurate up close and gets increased spread after maybe 20 meters. Hopefully there will be a mod fix, I love this weapon.
