Here is my new channel regarding my wife's condition. she was recently diagnosed with small cell lung cancer and brain metastases & has been given 1-2 years to live. On this channel I will be letting people know what's happening on our journey.

I can see why you keep being sent gear Dave, your unboxing and demonstrations are top notch. I have a basic version laser but don't know how I managed without one and use it all the time now - even this week replacing a kitchen drawer for my mother-in-law! Glad to see you in the workshop.

Hey Dave, My wife ended up in the ER a few weeks ago and was diagnosed with Metastasized Breast Cancer in her brain and skeleton, I am falling apart. You sir are one hell of a strong guy and I admire everything you do. Thank you for sharing, it gives me good content and also distraction from what I now have to go through. You sir are a rock I now stand on and an example to how I should be. Thank you from the deepest part of my heart.
First of all I'm saddened to hear your news. When you first hear the news you feel like your life has come to a screeching halt. Then you soon realise that it's not an immediate death sentence. As hard as it seems & whatever the final outcome is to be you need to concentrate on the Here & now. Your wife is still living & needs you more than you will ever know. Yes it's gonna be a tough journey but there are organisations that are there to help. You say I'm strong & it might appear that way from the outside but on the inside I'm a completely broken man. I have to remain strong for my wife as she needs me right now. Someone sent me a link to a video & it's really interesting. Shame I didn't see it a year ago when my wife was first diagnosed. I feel its too late for us as my wife isn't in a good place right now & I feel the end is near. Maybe there's still hope for your situation. Check it out czcams.com/video/6JD_JzprK5U/video.html. Dave you should not need to pay for meds etc, I hope you are claiming everything thats available to you and your wife, PIP is something she will definitely be entitled to so I hope you are getting that.. also any sort of adaptions to the house can be paid for by a grant. 👍
We are getting pip, we also get free prescriptions. We've had to buy incontinence nappies until recently when I've managed to get some for free. Not sure if that's a one off yet. There are lots of things needed by carers that we have to buy. Creams, body wash, deodorant, rubbish bags, kitchen roll. All these things are getting used like they're going out of fashion. Also the bed is plugged in 24/7 so elec costing more. Doing 10x more washing so more washing powder & elec. Also having to buy flat bed pads. Probably forgotten some stuff but you get the idea.
An interesting bit of equipment,top review as always good to see you back in the workshop especially considering your wife's health, stay strong mate 👍

Well I watched this video with interest. I do believe what they are saying is correct. Just a shame I didn't see this video a year ago. My wife's not in a good place right now & it's more than likely too late to change anything. I feel its only a matter of time. 😥😥
