I think both team are equally capable of winning, being a City supporter in EPL, I did not want City to face RMadrid so early. The scariest thing about real madrid in ucl is they hardly ever miss a goalscoring chance. Last game they took all their chances and plus got lucky with the camavinga deflection. 2 years ago they negated 180 minutes of domination by city with the first 2 shots of the game at 90+ and knocked them out.

They missed a lot. If they were clinical, City would have been down like 4-1. Vini turn to the left side and smashing the ball over the bar when he needed to cut in to the right foot, Rodrygo misfiring a glorious opportunity, Jude dragging the ball wide across when he should have hit the ball across to Vini for an empty net. Prime RM when CR7 and Benz will not miss those opportunities. However, Valvede scored a difficult goal to make up for 1 of the three expected goals.

Being "clinical" with your chances is THE MOST important thing in UCL. Idk but be it any version of Real Madrid, they always are clinical. City would probably need 8-9 shots on target to score 2-3 goals most of the time. Remember, Liverpool 2-5 Madrid, that was the definition of being absolutely clinical. That day, Madrid had just 5 shots on target, and 5 goals.
I'll just say this. I have so much respect for Real Madrid because I know how good and experienced they are, but I've watched Man City expose Real Madrids weakness time and time again, it'll be a challenge for us Cityzens but if we bring our A-game in this game, we can win this. And by A-game I mean Haaland being more clinical when he gets the chance at goal, for Foden to unleash that beast within him, for Ruben Diaz to be more effective behind, for Rodri to do what he does best (remain solid), for De bruyne to be at his best, for B.Silva to be all over the place and create space for other teammates , keep possession, but no sloppy passes.
