Margaret 1 against Margaret 2! There was a spate of "Margarets" in the 1910s-1940s. I had an Aunty Margaret and a Grosstante Grete (German), and nearly every other woman in her 40s and 50s, in the Southwest England Tory stronghold I grew up in in the 1980s, was called Margaret. Or Hilda. And wore a blue skirt suit. Go figure.

    How to play Ibble-dibble :
You burn the end of a cork until it leaves a mark when pushed against your skin. Then you are all given a number. When you mess up what you say you give the cork to someone else after dotting yourself on the face.
Your number is first thing you say : "Number x Ibble-Dibble"
Then you state the amount of Dibble Ibbles you have on have on your face : " With x Dibble-Ibbles "
Then you say who you want to give the cork to : "Calling number x Ibble-Dibble
Then you say how many Dibble-Ibbles they have : "With x Dibble-Ibbles "
    All in one : "Number 1 Ibble-Dibble with no Dibble-Ibbles calling number 3 Ibble-Dibble with 4 Dibble-Ibbles!"
The twist is, if you mess up, you drink. Usually with a strong drink like vodka or whiskey. Have fun playing!

Okay so everyone gets a number from 1-10. Remember your own number. That number is called "ibble-dibble". U can get stamps on your face called "dibble-ibbles". U start by saying "number [your number] ibble-dibble with no dibble-ibble's calling number [insert somebody else's number] ibble-dibble with no dibble-ibble" and u pass the stamp on to the person who has the number u just said. Whenever you mess up you have to drink and add a stamp to your face. For extra difficulty u can switch up places so nobody knows what number you have anymore ;)
Edit: whenever u have stamps u have to say the number of stamps followed by dibble-ibbles. So no dibble-ibbles in the example above can become e.g. 2 dibble-ibbles when u have 2 stamps on your face. When adding stamps u have to remember how many you have, you can't look in the mirror :)

'The Crown' should reflect reality, e.g. why the UK has a monarchy. Monarchy shouldn't be used as real-life soap opera, nor just as material to fill space in the media (since Elizabeth II's death there has not been much thought about why she matters).
Since the 1700s, the British monarchy has been a huge, tangible power for peace in the world. This achievement should become clear in comparison with the histories of other countries. In the 19th & 20th centuries the U.S.A, France, Germany, Russia, Italy, Spain and Greece suffered in various ways civil wars, political storms, and dictatorships. This shows what can go wrong in the absence of a head of state which is above politics, and which opposes illegal dictatorship. If there are many reasons England, Wales, and Scotland have had no civil war since Culloden in 1746, having a constitutional monarchy to unify all the people is an important reason. In the UK, 'peace' in formal speech is "The King's Peace".
This video should reflect how the monarchy is constitutionally separate from the organs of government. It was not Baldwin's fault Edward VIII chose to abdicate, nor is it fair to blame the monarchy for the Amritsar massacre in India, the Black & Tans in Ireland, or any of the mistakes British rule made in the world. The great value of the monarchy is to provide unity and stability in a way politicians can’t. Canada & Australia were given self-government under the British crown, and they have avoided secession and civil war (so far).
Of course King Charles III's marriage to Diana was a tragic mistake; the failure of Princess Anne’s & Prince Andrew’s marriages also show Prince Philip & Elizabeth II made mistakes as parents; Philip could be publicly tactless. Whatever mistakes the royal family have made, let us be grateful for the unity the monarchy gives. By stabilizing Britain & the commonwealth, it promotes peace in the world. The sea around it didn't protect the U.S.A. against civil war in the 1860s, and the UK could have suffered civil war over slavery in the 19th century; likewise over world war, loss of empire, economic failure, or race in the 20th. There will always be political violence and problems in the world, and billions of people who know or understand nothing of the British monarchy and the stability it brings. Since the 1700s, billions of people have lived under the British crown without civil war, lynching, dictatorship in their lives. God save King Charles III, and his successors.

I've seen some old interviews of her and I don't think so. She wasn't so
scowling, she talked faster and almost always had a smile on her face, even when speaking.

She wasn’t, no. I’m not sure why she’s portrayed this way in The Crown - I suspect it’s a deliberate exaggeration to widen the chasm between her and - well, everyone, really - because as well done as the series is, every character is exaggerated in some way. Sometimes distastefully, IMO.
This scene bothers me a bit because I don’t imagine Maggie Thatcher would have had ANY trouble at all playing that game!

Gillian Anderson is absolutely terrible as Margaret Thatcher. She plays her as if Thatcher was a meek, little sparrow that would have been be blown over by a mild breeze.

I think the problem is that she’s deliberately played meekly for the benefit of the show’s agenda. It’s a well done series, but they are DEFINITELY playing Devil’s advocate with the line between dramatisation and suggestion!
Thatcher wouldn’t have had ANY trouble articulating ‘ibble dibbles’. You know something’s awry when you see ‘Thatcher’ and ‘meek’ in the same sentence!

Gillian Anderson's portrayal of Lady Thatcher is nothing short of terrible. For some odd reason she decided to use the voice of Thatcher in her final yaers, not as she was when she was PM, and she contorts her face and grimaces like she's a stroke victim. While the plot of the "Iron Lady" was ridiculous, at least Meryl Streep did a faithful portrayal of Mrs. Thatcher's look and speech.
