I realize the irony of today's upload with yesterday's upload. TO BE CLEAR: I think this exhaust is WAY too loud and I've already ordered a quieter one and will be replacing it :) This was just to see what would happen with a cheaper exhaust and IT WAS A MISTAKE
Be respectful of others and enjoy motorsports responsibly my dudes
I got a Rombo Exhaust on my 2004 SV650S and it basically sounds the same with the baffle in and with the baffle out it sounds even more rumbly but this SV still even is too loud for me xD
No it was not a mistake! It sounds great! It's also safer now because... LOUD PIPES SAVE LIVES!!!!!!
B.0.i you ain't even get the tach to 7k
Where can I buy this exhaust? Could you put a link down?
I want it more now...
Yammie: "Loud pipes DON'T save lives - Here's why"
1 Day later :
Drivers three counties over doing U-turns to get out of his way lol!
He said from safety point there is no need in loud pipes but for fun sake you sure need to get one.
@@Fearless154 issa joke :))))))))))))))))))
@@MotoJournoKris lmaoo
Yep ... "Nek thing ..." ... lol
We could hear the freaking exhaust all the way in Europe...
That may have been mine, I'd like to say I will tone it down for you ,but I know that'd be a lie🙂
$140 exhaust proving you get what you pay for. Those baffles inside are doing NOTHING.
You're basically running straight pipes.
They are spark arrestors
I thought those looked like straight pipes. It's like a cherry bomb.
Yes, like an awful Harley! What a tragedy
Fun fact that exhaust they dont come with baffles, you have to buy them separately,
Yeah that's a y pipe car exhaust tip with a perforated pipe tack welded inside of it, it doesn't even have any packing inside of it
I’m in Australia and I can confirm that it’s loud. The sound waves just reached us this morning
I like that you made a video about loud exhausts yesterday. GG man you outplayed yourself lol
He said from safety point there is no need to get loud exhaust. You much better in investing this money in high visibility gear instead. But he said for fun sake you should get the loud exhaust.
Yammie Noob: "loud pipes DON'T save lives"
Then Yammie Goof proceeds to put the loudest pipe possible on the SV650. 🤦♂️
Trolling the yams
No no, it's good. It'll be safer now!
lmao
To an extent it will. You're telling me that at the very least, a pedestrian won't hear this damn thing coming down the road?
Yeah that's true, but @Yammie Noob forgot to install it facing forward 😜
@@bmartin7961 Needed the version with one straight through pipe facing forward, one facing back...
In other words, you just straight piped it.
Hmmmm not quite, I have a slip on for my sv650 and it has fallen off a few times and I can tell you that straight pipes don't sound this sweet 😂
Bruhhhh nah that exhaust is mad I'd rock that all day and night
Basically you’re Royal Jordanian now.
At first i was like: Damn that's a sick pipe. Finna get one.
Then i got a headache just from listening to it for 2 mins.
The catalytic converter is right there in front of the muffler
That little bike sounds f---kin' great! I LOVE it! People pay big bucks for those aftermarket exhausts for their MT09's to sound that good!
Heard my friend's MT9 triple one night on a road that was about a three quarters of a mile away. Sound was reflected back towards me from a castle on top of a rock (we're in Europe, stuff like that exists) . Could heard the backfires and burbles on downshifts, very distinctive. Had loud exhaust. Heard it through a closed window. Found out next day he was on the road at time I said I thought I heard him.
(Basically straightpipes a motorcycle)
"It's really loud"
"Guys it's really loud"
"It's crazy how loud it is"
"It's as loud as the FCO7 was with a full system and no baffles"
"It's stupid loud"
"It is damn loud"
This made me laugh in a very special way, thank you my man!
First thought was that the pipe was put upside down. If the bike is left in the rain, the pipe is cupping upward catching more drops. The other way around is less probable. Just a thought.
Yammie, for Rossi's sake man, everybody knows you gotta put a Yoshimura on the Suzuki :P
Papa yam-makes a video dissing on loud bikes
Also papa yam-makes bike sound like a drag car
I've got that same exhaust on my 02 Bandit 1200 and it screams! I absolutely love them on my bike.
Had one very similar on my GSXR 1000, it sounded like the deathly growl of a hell hound released from the depths of hades and I fucking loved it !
I have a 2103 SFV650 that I put a M4 Exhaust on. A match made in heaven - Releases that beautiful V-Twin sound at low RPM and has a really nice bark that isn't obnoxious when I crack the throttle. Looks Great and even has an optional baffle if you want to tame it a bit. Opens up the exhaust just enough to get that occasional little back fire when backing off the throttle
How can you not see the cat converter in there?? It's so big lol
Always loved the SV650 engine. With a GPR exhaust it sounds great. That exhaust you put sounds insane, but insanely loud too! lol Where I live you'd get pulled over on the first day riding it.
This makes the old FZ07 sound like a sewing machine. Damn Yam, I’m gunna need you to get a 2 bros or something. Lol
2 bros still is low tier quality no offence
Loved the always sunny in Philadelphia reference at the start. 😄
I put a two brothers exhaust on my last bike. It was stupidly loud to the point that I wasn't enjoying riding the bike. It didn't have any baffles, but after adding a baffle it sounded great. It still had a low growl, but it wasn't insanely loud anymore
Ooo loads of amazing uploads
I had a 2018 SV650 ABS and I went with the Akrapovic slip on and removed the baffle. It had a nice tone and wasn't too loud.
I put the Delkelvic 350mm oval exhaust on mine and it sounds fantastic, and only subtly louder than the stock exhaust but so much lighter.
I have a 2013 SV650S with a Dan Moto GP CARBON and don't find it overly loud. Just sounds beefy. They make the same GP CARBON that has a sound control feature (Almost like an adjustable baffle). I enjoy the sound of my SV.
I’m ordering this exhaust for mine. This exhaust sounds amazing!
I think its neat tho. Can I put it on my civic?
The pipe may be bigger, but I bet someone makes one.
Straight pipe it
Don't do that
Ya... That's basically what my old Suzuki 650 sounded like. Decat and short pipe. Loved that thing. Hear it coming from miles, literally.
So that's what woke me up early in the morning. I could hear you in Belgium
That thing sounds freaking insane. I see you are replacing it but are you going to keep for the winner to pick?
The sunny intro gave me life. I love you golden god yam
honestly, knowing how this bike sounds irl
I really like the stock exhaust as it is. give it a couple hundred miles to open up and it sounds great as is without being over the top.
Not thaaaat crazy on idle but good enough
but under load
holy mother of bass
HELL YEAH! Now those dank nooners will sound badass too!
I got a "chinapovic" exhaust for mines for £40 and it sounds great! :D
Although it comes with a removable baffle... which I left in. Although even without that it's quieter than this. With it in it sounds a bit louder and meaner without being obnoxiously loud.
I'd love to see you try a Coffman's Exhaust on one of the next bikes, just make sure to keep the catty on.
I know you do a lot of videos on safety tips and stuff. A decibel meter would be a great investment for that, so when you upgrade your giveaway bikes, you can recommend ear protection if necessary 👌🏻
Where are the Canadian giveaways? Come on Yammie Noob, Shavin' Pubes, Smokin' Doobs!
Had 2 SV650s, great looking but couldn't wait to get rid of them as the handlebar vibrations gave me VERY numb fingers (on both bikes).
Yam, you "done goofed", as a friend of mine likes to say.
Yammie - Loud pipes saves lives is a myth!
Also Yammie - *installs pipes that produce a massive guttural farting noise*
To be honest, I think a baffle kit could sort this out a bit.
Also, this is the sort of thing that keeps me coming back to this channel daily 😂. Awesome work!
lmao I had to see what would happen! A massive mistake
@@yammienoob hahaha as someone who's built something that ended up far louder than it should be because I messed around with the exhaust, I completely understand the urge to see what would happen.
Papa yam I finally made a deal I get my first motorcycle on monday. A nice looking 2002 sv650s. Thanks for all your guidance. Pictures to come.
Sounds really good to me! Great video as always!
Svs are nearly always like this with aftermarket exhausts from my experience 😂
Buy the Baffles for it, and only use 1, that is the best for this exaust, i have fz07 it works great
LOVED the it’s always sunny intro
Sounds AMAZING! LOVE IT!
Scorpion Serket Taper on mine. Sounds great and not excessively loud.
This exhaust sounds absolutely amazing! Who needs eardrums anyway!
You should make a video of it straight piped and see if those "pipes" even make a difference 😂
I have that exact pipe on my 07 sv650s riding around the uk, I personally love it, but understand why others hate it,
I have one of these on my FZ8 and while loud it sounds pretty good on that bike. I don't like how it sounds on this one though
I love the way that sounds!!
Can you make a video how to shift fast with using the clutch. And maybe you can a put a camera on the bike, which is showing your left foot shifting and at the same time showing your POV
Try a SC Project exhaust, I got one for my sv650 and it sounds so good.
I have those pipes on my old Gs500.
He actually didn't put the baffles into the pipes, so they ARE straight pipes as he's riding it in this clip.
The baffles are a separate purchase :)
It sounds good, it's just to loud. Can the baffles be removed? Seriously, you might wrap them with fiberglass mat. Or change, modify the baffle. ...
I have all the feels for my papa, but I can't stop laughing either!😆
Exhaust pipes are like organ pipes. Their pitch is directly related to interior size and length. The high pitch is due to the size, the loudness is due to having two pipes and probably very little damping material.
Pappa Yam! I have the Danmoto XG-1 on my GSX650F... its a 4cyl so its sounds a bit smoother than the SV does but it was still HELL loud. I bought the $25 baffles for the pipe from Danmoto and now I love it... Sounds very similar but about 25db less which makes it tolerable... I still have to wear earplugs on longer rides but hey - that's the price you pay for getting rid of your stock can for $130 ;)
Yam your crazy that bike sounds awesome! Why do you think people like ducati's? The butt noise is fantastic! I used to have an RC51 that growl from that bike made me smile every time i twist the throttle! You got this on wrong!
FYI the cat is right in front of the exhaust, see that bulge by the foot peg?
I just bought a 2023. this is the exact sound I'm looking for.
ha! I recently put a coffman on street triple and its ridiculously loud. good thing slips are easy to swap.
This video right after the loud pipes video lol. It sounds good.
Sounds amazing!
So I ran this exhaust but I used 4" Harley baffles and it sounded amazing.
You should bring the bikes to the track kind of do a track test and a timed lap to compare the bikes.
You should have gotten the Ixil Hyperlow. Looks similar to that exhaust but is of much higher quality and sounds much, much better.
I got it and it's amazing. Check my recent video
That It's Always Sunny intro got me lol
I'll still take it.
I did the same "stupid loud" mistake with a cheap exhaust on my Tracer 900.
Stupid, stupid loud. And the stock db-killer the exhaust came with has a really small mouth, it feels like it is too restricted.
So I found there are 2inch bufflers you can put in between the pipe and the slip on and they are 20$. Gonna try one of those.
Best exhaust for the sv650 is a slip on Delkavik. I have the stubby kind on my 18 and boy does that thing scream 🤤
Sounds like my buddy Honda CB 500. I was about to buy same style of slip on for my Honda CBR 600 F4I but I bought Coffman instead
Just go to auto parts stores and find 2 baffles that slip in, if you like that look and low price, but not the extra noise.
In love with the looks of this bike, probably it's the color scheme, but I might say I love it a bit more than the MT 07
Same problem. Looks epic on the bike but after 1 week I was def .It sounds better on 4 cylinders actually.
Yam, are you an F1 fan?
If so, will you be at the US GP this year?
Planning to make it out there next year, if I'm not broke and my work allows it
Something in that exhaust is rattling, it has to be unless its causing something in your helmet mic to vibrate but it sounds really metallic.
Catalytic converter is still on.
It's the slight bulge near the end of the remaining factory pipes.
Hmmm, 🤔 loud pipes save lives was debunked. Then you make loud pipes a thing to put on your giveaway bike. I like the way you operate 🍻
It's sounds awesome I think? Why is it bad? Too loud?
I bought and installed a Delkavic exhaust off ebay that really made a great sound for my SV650...
I would buy another in a heartbeat... It's very loud without the removable baffle, but I run without it here as no one says anything..
It sure does turn heads, and breaks necks :D
Sound clip for reference --- everyone loves its sound czcams.com/video/KhF61RVaClg/video.html
My 2013 FJR1300 has the start assist also. It's barely noticeable.
I bought a 2017 SV650 ABS after watching you Noob. This bike is a rocket.
LoL, I literally just installed the Motosurri GP on my 2017 SV650. It sounds amazing. Do consider, and it's only $200
That sounds AMAZINGLY AWESOME!!
Dude why order a new one
You could weld in a db killer in each pipe and it would be just fine
Yammie: Loud pipes are stupid
Also Yammie: Im gonna straight pipe the Sv650!
its just a danmoto slip on lol
So that’s what woke me up from my nap in Arizona yesterday?
1. you put the exhaust tip on upside down...
2. put in the DB killer!
I have the danmoto XG-1 on my Kawa Z1000 and I had to put in the DB killers..
You should of got the black oval danmoto, i have a v strom 650 and does sound really nice and with the db killer is not that loud
bruh, if you want to keep it cheap, but get quality, too, get a delkkavic slip on. i had one on a second gen and it sounded great
Wish I had roads like that where I live ...no twisty roads around me
Yoshi's ftw for the sv twin. My v strom with full yoshi sounds amazing (other people's opinion, I'm used to it so meh) it's halarious sitting next to sport and super bikes and bieng able to drown them out
You know they have other models whith db killers right?
I bought a second hand SV650 S 2003 with a straight through pipe and it was only a matter of time before I got pulled over by the police for noise violation so I did the only reasonable thing and bought a fifteen dollar pack of fibre glass exhaust matting, packed that exhaust and riveted an aluminium Yoshimura decal to it. Genune SV650 Yoshi.
