- In todays video Andrew's GR86 gets a new AWE track edition exhaust. This is a very LOUD alternative especially if you're running a full bolt on like Andrew's car, so be very cautious when choosing which is best for you. We both really happen to like the exhaust however since it brings the car to life and makes the pops and bangs tune so much more enjoyable to use so we would highly recommend that you check it out.! Anyways, let us know what you think of the video and what other mods should we do to our cars. Enjoy :)

FYI the extra "mufflers" on the touring edition aren't actually mufflers - they're just resonators for eliminating in-cabin drone. From the outside, both versions will basically sound equally loud.
Interesting, did not know that at all. Always have been hearing people say they’re mufflers, but appreciate the info!
That sounds completely insane! Fitment looks good, I like the blacked out tips. What exhaust did you have on there before?
It really does!! One of the best sounding exhaust on the 86 for sure! Fitment is really great with the 5 inch tips to fill out the cutouts and the being blacked out just adds to it. The car had a Remark elite spec catback on it which sounded great as well and was definitely more tame than this one haha

Sorry for the late response but it really is a lot of fun and sounds hella nice! We got a chance to hear the touring in person finally and we can say the track version is definitely more…aggressive😂😂

Do you have any other suspension components for your fitment or just coilovers? And is it rubbing bad?
Currently just running the coilovers, but the fronts do have the slotted camber adjustment maxed out. There is some rubbing over harsh bumps and around corners at high speeds, but with chill driving there’s little to none!
Is the droning bad or tolerable? Looking to get this exhaust soon
Droning honestly is too bad, it’s very tolerable. The only thing is the car does have a dual resonated front pipe and that most likely is canceling out a lot do the drone so it might vary for you. If you want to be on the safer side you could go with the touring edition which is supposed to have zero drone.
How are you getting it to pop like that? Is it tuned?
You would be correct on the car being tuned, but the car would also pop on downshifts with the stock tune!
what's the full exhaust set up?
It has JDL UEL catted headers, JDL dual resonated front pipe/overpipe combo and now the AWE track catback exhaust!
