There was a Tarzan movie with Alexander Skargard and Margot Robbie along with Samuel L. Jackson and Christoph Waltz, I loved it. It was called The Legend of Tarzan in 2016.

I'm still disappointed that nothing is being done for Brother Bear, it is such a good animated movie 😢
The fact that it is such a good animation movie is probably why it is best that Disney is not making a live action Brother Bear. in 2019, they ruined the Lion King with their CGI making the lions look more similar -- making it difficult to tell them apart -- and not giving them the emotions/facial expressions we loved in the original, making the songs badly different, and not including most of the original cast when they are all still alive. The Lion King was too good to be left untarnished, so I hope Brother Bear won't be ruined the same way by being turned into a life action version. Disney should keep as many of their original movies as untarnished as possible and create new movies with original ideas again.
I can't wait for these awesome Disney remakes to hit theaters.
I'm glad to see someone who's also a fan of Disney's Robin Hood. I'm really curious to see a remake and I think Zachary Bryan would make for a good modern-day equivalent of Roger Miller for the soundtrack
I love Tinkerbell so I really hope it gets made. It would be cool to see her friends come back to.

Why cant Disney go back to making creative live action movies. Anyone remember Flubber, The parent trap, Eight Below, where are those kinds of movies instead we keep getting this crap.

I want Hercules based on Greek mythology plus Disney story fusion, so it's grown up Disney but not just mythology. I want lilo and stitch, Moana and hunchback of Notre Dame but the musical storyline for hunch back

That’s one of the reasons I loved _Wonder Woman_ they made _Aries_ the villain instead of Hades.
The Black Cauldron is the most underrated Disney movie made which sucks cause it’s one of my top 3 favorites.
I hope that Disney can finally learn that each live-action remake is an embarrassment to it's original version, and make good original movies instead. I don't mind sequels much as long as they are good quality ones and are made for movies which have a story in them that should get a continuation. Because after watching an original film, if you get interested in the characters who were introduced in it, it can get more and more frustrating to have to watch only that film to see them do anything then get bored because you'd want to to see the characters in it go through a new story plot, but can't because only 1 film with those characters in it was made. Though don't make sequels to films who's story did NOT end on a cliffhanger and have NO need to be continued because of that!

Why are they remaking Bambi if they are going to take out his mother dying? Why? Just why? And why the heck are they remaking lilo and stitch? Why? It’s one of my absolute favorites and doesn’t need to be remade.
The original jungle book was amazing. King Louie's song has me singing along.
My daughter and I just watched Hercules again, the other night❤. My daughter is 31 and we still laughed our butts off! YESSSS! The Aristocats!!! One of our favorites 🥰

This is such a dystopian title for a compagny who's job it is to provide escapist creativity.
Lion King. They're making a hash of this one. For years, Mufasa and Scar was brothers and scar was jealous of his brother becoming King, but now, it turns out that Mufasa was infact, an orphan who was adopted and forced his way to the throne, and then had some disagreement with Scar, because he became Lion Guard/Uncle/Protector thingy. I am not sure what's going on here, but for some reason, they are trying to humanise Scar, like they do with all villains we love to hate.. It is a total turnaround....and it turns out that Simba pushed him over the edge by teasing him about it. I mean like, it was one of those Fanfics that sort of caught on....I am not sure how to feel about this.
My fear is just that a lot of great films are being broken, with those live adoptation remakes. It's fine that the company is changing their politics to fit are more modern world, but I would suggest that they do that onwards. I would love getting through to Disney, asking them if all those live action remake adoptations are a filler for a request of new stories to tell. Is that the reason why you make all those? Because you need new fairytales to tell....?
Look at the fairytale material, Disney workers, and see what could be a movie material. The Grimm Brothers, Gambatista, Hans Christian Andersen, 1001 night....

How I would love for the return of good old 2D hand-drawn animation.
People can take this as harsh towards Disney. But I hope Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc say no to them.
One for the screw up they did with the advertising that lead to the fail of the John Carter of Mars move and two, no body has done accurate/semi faithful to the book, live action Tarzan film since Warner Bros 1984, Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes.
The music of Phil Collins and the voices acting of Brian Blessed, Glenn Close, Minnie Driver, Rosie O'Donnell and Lance Henriksen, is want makes the Disney Tarzan movie watchable for me.
As time goes on I am very thankful that my favourite Disney movie as a kid was Pocahontas. Because I don't believe that Disney will ever try to remake that movie because they fear the consequences.

I would love to see where Cruella 2 takes off from the first movie; I wonder if it will go straight into the likely story we knew as "101 Dalmatians" or if it will just take us on the steady journey towards the bit of the story that happens before it actually gets to that point.
I kinda agree with the Aladdin title actor, his movie was already great and the ending did not leave anything much desire for a possible making for a live action sequel, true enough that we see Aladdin and Jasmin with their happily ever after and as much I would like to explore further into their relationship, I don't think it is really necessary, now that the Genie has no further reason for participation in Aladdin's life now that he has his own family life to worry about. The Genie in the animated version of Aladdin didn't have a romantic happily ever after for himself and because the ending of that version was open to interpretation on what happens to the genie is the reason why we have "Return of Jafar", and this is what led to questions about Aladdin's family life that led to the next sequel "Aladdin and the King of Thieves"; and since the Live action version of Disney's Aladdin had an actual closing ending, there is no real reason to boost it any higher with sequels.
If they are really making a live action version of both "The Black Cauldron" and "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", then that would mean that "The Hunchback of Notre Dam" will once again be the competitor for "The Black Cauldron" in which is going to be the Darkest movie of its release year; "The Hunchback of Notre Dam" had won the first time in it's Disney animation but will it win again in its Disney live action movie reboot or will it be "The Black Cauldron" live action movie's turn to win the spot light for scariest Disney movie ever made? I would be even more freaked out by "The Horned King" character than the dynamics between "Claud Frollo and Quasimodo" in live action.

I would possibly be interested in Princess and the Frog IF they can get someone who can do the perfect Dr. Facilier. I'd say Keith David is obvious, but at the same time, idk if there's anyone who could surpass him when it gets to channeling the actual movement of the character since hopefully he'd be just as charming and smooth - if not even moreso - in the live action.
I'm good without Bambi and Aristocats, though. I can see Hunchback becoming the first PG 13 movie actually by Disney if there isn't one prior (not including things they bought such as Star Wars and Marvel).
IF the Mufasa movie comes out with the animations like the last few clips, MAYBE it could work? But considering how the models were in live action LK, I don't have much hope right now. But if they go with those more colorful models then they're getting a lot closer. I could actually tell who was Scar without having to look for a scar! :P

Please just watch the lion guard.. Its a way better story than any lion king beside the original and maybe Simbas pride. It has loads of flashbacks and flashback episodes such as Scar gettiong his scar!

I love the live action remakes much more than the old ones, because of thier great animation and character design. To me they look much prettier and add so much to the francise. Lion King was so emotional with CGI lions, Mowgli finally Had the right proportions compared to the animals and thing that annoyed me the most in Mulan was Mushu. Glad they had him removed. And the new versions of the songs are way better than that old stuff. The remakes are totally worth their money! - said noone ever

The Aristocats: I loved this iconic movie, but from what I have been hearing, it makes me nervous. They revamped it to modern day with a twist, removed a few iconic characters, totally changed O'Mally completely, the song 'Everybody wants to be a cat' has been changed for modern lyrics, they changed the villain as well. Reboots never go well, shame they have to do this

Sorry, I don't want any of these live-action remakes to be made. I'm so sick of them. It's as if Disney is trying to avoid admitting they have no new original ideas for movies. I saw on some other YT channel a trailer for a remake of Brave. I think, SLUURP, you missed that one. Ugh! When's it gonna stop? As for the Tarzan remake, I most earnestly hope that never comes to pass. The way Disney F'ed up the adaptation of the novel *without real justification* was an insult to Tarzan fans around the world. ERB, Inc. should never have sold the rights to Disney to adapt.

I have pretty much given up on Disney. Their insistence on remaking classic films we grew up on to add DEI elements is akin to the Japanese teaching revisionist history by changing stories to suit their narrative. I don't need Disney to teach me about black people or gay people by insisting they include these "lessons" in their projects.
