    Hi Stroudtucson - thanks for watching and the good words. I've been playing fretted instruments for 45 years. Self taught but learned a lot from all the musicians I've played with. Advice: Play with everyone - you can learn something from everybody.

    Thank you Gerald. I think that is very good advice. It's kind of a musical journey I guess and the teachers are all around.

    It's a standard 17" scale length tenor uke. It may look bigger because it's a custom made uke with a 1.5" nut. Most tenors on the market have a slightly narrower nut.

      @@gbross Hi again - can't put this one down! - is there any pickup amplification on this. I can feel a focus from guitar to Uke coming on thanks to listening to you - hope I have enough years left to climb the early steps ! Thanks

    No lie, you are a terrific player. Can you tell me a little about how your learned. Are you self-taught? I have been playing for about three years but I find it is hard to find a teacher or lesson plan that keeps you moving forward. I learn little bits here and there, but it gets frustrating when you want to improve. Thanks so much for posting your beautiful playing. It's so inspiring!

    Great playing....what is the scale length of your uke....the fret spaces look really wide compared to my tenor.

  • @jl6670
    @jl6670 Před 11 lety

    So is the string spacing close to that of a guitar?...i notice the extra width now but it still looks like baritone fret spacing...maybe its the solid fret markers
