We leave our Christmas decor up till January 6th it's called Little Christmas in Bethlehem you work so hard putting all that stuff up they're still playing Christmas music on the radio enjoy it.

I put up my Christmas decor I think the day after Thanksgiving this year. The earliest I've ever done this. Being in a new house I wanted time to switch things around a bit bcz I had no idea where they'd end up. Being that the house was decorated so early, by the time Christmas day was here, I was ready to clean and take down. Good thing there were no kids around by the late afternoon bcz guess who started undecorating the tree? I had a mess by 10pm and left it to go to bed. Everything is almost put away by the next day and deep cleaning has begun. Feels so good. Thanks for your videos.

You should never feel badly for taking time off to enjoy your family, those are the moments that truly matter. I also bought myself a white Dutch Oven as a pre Christmas gift. I had been wanting one for a long time and you’re correct, the sales were incredible! I’ve already used it so much. I absolutely love it! I love the new items in the twins rooms, it appears they love them as well. The golde simulator looks like it will be well loved as well. Wishing you and yours all the best in 2024!

Congrats on your Staub. I have Le Creuset and I use it all the time. I have several actually. I inherited one from my Mum which she got in the early 70's. It is still in excellent condition. When my son moved out several years ago he asked for a Le Creuset as a homewarming gift. He loves to cook. ;)
Christmas is time to hang with family and friends:) we don’t take down our Christmas decorations until after the New Year:) It’s time to enjoy it all with out thinking of everything you need to do before Christmas. The weekend after the New years is when everything starts to come down… that’s when you look at your home and see how empty it all looks. Looks like everyone received some nice gifts:) Happy New Year:)

That special time with your beautiful family deserves privacy. 3/4 of my family were sick on Christmas so I'm gearing up for round 2 tomorrow, which is Saturday the 30th. It looks like Christmas morning here. Just went food shopping, I will be serving lunch. Making meatballs, pasta salad, a sandwich tray, sausage and peppers, charcuterie board, chips, dips.... 😔 I think undecorating is the saddest day of the year. In my mind I’m thinking how long it will be til I can haul out the Fall stuff and start over again.

Hey Crystal, just a suggestion but I think you should just take down your pops of red n items that depict Christmas n leave your trees plain w/ white lights n certain decor items, like your greenery n deer n snowflakes, n snowmen, etc. n be decorated for winter for awahile, I do that n let some pops of red for Valentine’s Day, depending on what it is of course, plus I decorate 2 houses so yes it’s a lot of work so I do mine that way n then decorate for spring n summer in March! Great video n thank u for sharing, Christmas came quick n yes sooooo busy this year! Happy New year to u all, enjoy! 😊❤️🎁💕⭐️🎉

Hi Crystal! So glad you had a great Christmas! Yes I have a lot to take down too. Just going to wait and do it in increments, Even though I'm supposed to be off of work, I have brought bookwork home to do and went in today for about 6 hours and worked with a few people. I also have a friend who broke a section of her arm and has needed transportation back and forth to her other home about 40 minutes away a few times. BTW, the cranberry candle is beautiful! Take us along when you start to put things away. I will need motivation for that...tee hee! Sorry, but the screaming goat would drive me crazy too! LOL
Crystal I did the same thing with taking down the porch decor. I am from OH and we had a 50 plus day. I said I am taking it down now before it is covered in snow!!!

We live in Chicago but we are from Puerto Rico where Christmas is the longest in the world. My kids were born here but they love 3 Kings day and the celebrations that follow. Mid to end of January we take Christmas décor down.
My husband and I had a very modest Christmas as far as gifts are concerned. We have 2 newly wed children (poor)and a poor older teen.😂. I got a bit of money, Starbucks card, coffee beans and a puzzle. But honestly I was expecting nothing (I was very much ok with that) so the little I received I was surprised . You got some really nice gifts Crystal.

The 'To Do List" was so funny. Already a little man with those goals: golf and eat! Sports and food is practically all that exists for males. LOL! It's so sad looking when we have to put away our Christmas decor. I see the same thing eleven months of the year and love Christmas so it's hard to pack it all back up. I love your dutch oven! I have a 5qt Staub in white and love it. You pronounce it like stove but with a b, so Stobe, with a long o. The a throws a lot of people off. Enjoy cooking in your new pot. A little tip is if after cooking and cleaning your pot you may see a bit of a haze or discoloration. Just add a little lemon juice and rub it all around and then rinse it and it will look like new again. Happy cooking!
