Hello, I would like to ask? I am using the same multimeter, how do I check the capacitor is still good or not to use? What I mean is what is the reading on a bad capacitor? Thanks.
Hai and hello. Thank you for sharing the knowledge. It's been a while since the pandamic occurs, people are really good n kind to share their experience in repairing home appliances.The things that u show is a method to solve the problem related to the speed of the fan. If we found out the speed is getting lesser as compare to a brand new unboxing fan, it is reccomended tu change the capasitor. However, in another case, it need other approach of repairing method as the problem may varies differently from one another. On my case, i 've got a problem where the fan could not even rotate on any speed. I had try diagnose it by bypassing the circuit n it work perfectly fine. I trace the current flow from the early life input current till the output n what keep my eyes open when seen the fan start to rotate after bypassing several connection from the board. What could be the possible problem of that? Can it be the computerize unit that store n give the order to the fan to rotate? Feel free to share the knowledge if you could find the possible answer.
You cant check for the capacitor value like that. please get a proper multimeter that can check capacitance. Capacitors degrades over time, a simple charge discharge won’t tell you anything

I hanya tukar capacitor 1.8uf ,boom speed 3 Hidup! 😅 Question: * mesti release current pada capacitor baru sebelum pasang? Just turn to 20V on Multimeter to release? * Apa fungsi kedua-dua hitam capacitor tu? Small one is to power on kipas?
