As a Brazilian living in England, I came into the game expecting a massacre… I was incredibly surprised that we managed to pull this off, and at the same time shocked to see how one man and his team can handicap so many talented players. I was excited to see England for the first time but was left in dismay. It's honestly a disservice to the nation what he's doing.

The ONLY two ways Southgate is gone from England is either he resigns or he wants to leave to manage a Club, that’s it.
Remember this is same FA that wouldn’t sack Hodgson after we couldn’t get out of our World Cup group in 2014, AND wouldn’t sack Hodgson after our loss vs Iceland at the 2016 Euros as Hodgson resigned after the match which the FA didn’t sack him.
And this is also the same FA that originally appointed Sam Allardyce back in 2016.

Fortunately for Engalnd there is a kid who plays for Crystal Palace . Adam Wharton . This kid has an unbelievable passing range . He looks like an English Pirlo .
If the next manager plays a midfield three of Mainoo, Wharton and Foden .No team in world football will be able to live with them .

That midfield three in the future could be as exceptional as Xavi, Busquets and inesta .
Gareth Southgate's England is not brave enough.. he took the chains off slightly in the belgium game and was visibly nervous up till the end. he couldn't double down when Stones got injured or when he took Gordon off. this was a perfect window to give Palmer a chance to see if he could add a surprise element to the attack the same way Mainoo added to the midfield. That's one of the things that hold England back
Funny how both goals we scored were from play that southgate doesn't like. He prefers to pass it around, slowly. Mainoo actually running past people led to the penalty from toney, and the ball into the box with creativity from maddison led to the 2nd goal.
It was about time somebody raised this issue with Southgate. Bang avarge coach who'd been sacked long ago if he wasn't english.
Even with a change of manager, England will most likely still have Pickford, Maguire and Chilwell in starting 11. No way those boys can be carried by the midfield and attacking talent in the squad. Semis is the limit for England.

Germans who would get into the England squad: Neuer, Ter Stegen, Rüdiger, Kimmich, Kroos, Müller (maybe), Gundogan, Sané and Wirtz. “Virtually none”
I honestly don’t know who is still defending Southgate, we’ve had one bright spot under Southgate and that was the First Nations league campaign where we reached the semis by beating both Spain & Croatia and he has brought a lot more unity in the England team that previously was never there due to his man management. However you can’t look past the fact that as soon as we face a team on a similar level to us we get beaten. The three major tournaments we’ve been in under Southgate we’ve been knocked out by the first top 10 ranked team we come up against and recently we had the disastrous Nations League campaign that saw us get slapped around by Hungary at home and will result in us playing in the second tier next time around.
However having said all that I don’t think we stand much of a chance getting rid of Southgate only a few months before the Euros kick off but then again we don’t have much chance with his cautious football even though we probably have the one of the best front threes in Europe plus the best midfield on paper since the golden generation. I personally think Jose Mourinho should be the one to come in but he’s not a complete yes man so the FA will probably bring in Frank Lampard or just promote Lee Carsley from the under 21s.
