I used to take my 2-stroke H2 to HS to pick up girls but I was 19 at the time so no longer in HS. Used H2 cost me about $1000 back in the '70s. Chick magnet. Or maybe it was me? "The older I get, the faster I was."
@@joshwinkelstein407 that’s how my dad and mom met. My moms car broke down in high school parking lot and my dad offered her a ride home on the back of his zx6r. Would’ve been late 90’s I believe.

Being young doesnt mean youre irresponsible, it MOSTLY means you havent been trusted with responsibility.
Thats why i dont get people who are like you shouldnt do etc etc when youre young like why? As soon as it is feasible to do something, at the very least try. The earlier you can start to learn the quicker you will.master and the more exemplary you will be later in life.
Life is like golf, noone is ever good on their first day, and even 10 years you can always improve but the earlier you start the more you achieve

@@olivercollins744 Kawasaki is known for that. Which I like. They have short bikes, Yamaha has tall as fuck bikes and Hondas in between.
It’s pretty amazing to see somebody confident enough to ride this bike, and is just cutting short of the balls the go wide open. Really shows what this bike is and what it really takes to use it to its full potential
Finally got my license here in Brazil and your channel helped me a lot throgh the process and chosing my first bike, don't want to with too much so i'm taking a 300cc
When I was a teenager I test rode a cousin ninja 600, this was 1986 or so, My very 1st bike was a 1992 new FZR 1000 new, I dropped it 2 times of the kick stand, I dont drink or smoke and have always been a responsible rider, now at 52 years old, I've had all the bad boy bikes, GSXR1100,GSXR1000, hayabusa 1397cc, And now a ZX14R the last 8 years, H2 is probably my next bike. congratulations to this young man you came and road a lion !

i grew up dirt bikes only, then no bikes 30 plus years and got a new 2020 Z900 over the 650 cause only a thousand dollar difference and i knew id want faster and heavier. but only a thousand dollar difference and 636 i wasnt ready for clip on bars. now i got 900, klx 300 AND a 2022 636! SC Project lets it scream too!
When I was in high school the 900 Z-1 Kawasaki was brand new. My dad bought one of the first ones and I snuck it out of the garage and rode it to school during lunch. It was so strange but everyone looked at me just a little bit differently after that day

I have a 08 turbo Busa at 300hp on 93 that's 4" over, lowered, and it still wheelies in 2nd and 3rd, and it scares me at times. I can't imagine a H2 on corn syrup making 340ish with no stretch and trying to keep the front wheel down at 120+. You traumatized the poor kid!!!

My dad has ridden a motorcycle my entire life. He started on a Honda gold wing, and rode that for 14 years. He retired and traded it in for a H2 SX. I asked him if I could learn to ride and he put me right on it on some back roads. No motorcycle experience other than a 110cc pit bike in the desert. It was really a pass fail scenario (which I always thought was easier for me) I did build a 500hp mustang in high school which taught me some valuable lessons about throttle control. Which definitely helped me with the sheer power of the h2. These bikes definitely will run away from you if you’re not careful

Literally scared the shit out of me when he said is that the gas pedal. Apart from the fact that that rear brake alone will slow the bike faster then my front brake on my bike will. The H2 is faster in first gear then my bike is completely maxed
That’s pretty normal exhaust behavior for something tuned for performance on e85… just watch some engine dyno vids and the headers glow really fast with e85… also titanium glows purple the Dinan v10 for bmw racing has an engine with titanium headers that they show being dyno tuned with the header glowing a nice purple… 😂

bike is supercharged, the sound your hearing is the blow off valve 👍🏼
Blow off valve is what you're hearing.. you're not hearing turbo spool. It's a supercharger.
Everyone correcting you like a centrifugal supercharger isn't just a belt driven turbo.
They make the same sounds lol and it's not even a blow off valve it's the flutter same as you get on a turbo.

We had 18 and 19 year olds handling millions of dollars of nuclear missiles with no problems. When I was a 17 year old I had the skills to ride the H2 in a straight line but certainly not the judgement.
I wacked the throttle on a couple Zx1400Rs at Bonneville and the rear end tried to pass the front which was exciting, of course I was about 50 years older than Nico.😄
