i'm pretty sure it's a different Tiger I compared to the german one, the size seems too off, i compared with many pictures from google and it's slightly bigger than the germany one and that's kinda weird.
@@rojevil2829 I doubt the French altered the superstructure of the tank, so its probably just the pictures, and the fact that the Tiger was a gigantic tank.
I'd say the new event vehicle will be the Churchill AVRE cause why not 😅

Going to be that guy to point out that Operation Overlord was the whole invasion of Normandy, not just the D-Day landings. The landings on D-Day were Operation Neptune.
Just to add to the DD gang, floatscreen was also tedsted on tetrarch light tank
Some more ideas, the British CDL M3 grant. It lacks the turret gun but got an big ass flashlight. There was also a matilda CDL tank. Or that german cursed Sturmpanzer based on interwar french tanks.
Would also love to see the M7 Priest or the British Bishop tank (although maybe not for D-day event as they weren't present then but maybe for later events)
I would like the M4 Rhino or the Stuart variant
The ones I would like the most would be either the Churchill AVRE, French Tiger or the Cromwell Big gun tank

Out of the vehicles mentioned in the video, Churchill AVRE is definitely my favorite, but the abysmal range of the gun would probably make it nigh unplayable in-game.
Most likely going to be the recently leaked Churchill AVRE since that lines up pretty well with the D-Day theme.

You did not mess up about the weapon system on the Churchill A.V.R.E. the first time around. It is a 29mm Spigot Mortar. Note that it's a 29mm SPIGOT, a 29mm metal rod that the charge gets put over. It was also known as the Blacker Bombard.

The French Tiger which is still here at the Musée de Saumur is currently in restoration in order for him to actually move. That's why I support 100% the Tiger idea for the new event

Isn't the Alecto's gun very similar to the 95mm breach loaded mortar? I think it might even be the same, if so that gun is a bit rough to use in game to say the least

"A french tiger" France got a squad with a dozen running at the end of the war, and two dozen of panther.
That s why there is so many panther in Saumur museum.

I think the Churchill AVRE mk4 would only make sense as an event vehicle, like the sturmtiger. I am surprised the Centaur is not a premium already, because it reminds me of the Panzer 3N. I hope the French Tiger, other AVRE, and StuG IV come eventually, but not all as event vehicles.

If only we could deploy the amphibious sherman as a last ditch effort if your ship goes down. Your ship goes down and you can spawn this amphibious sherman in the motorboat spawn.
The French Tiger is not needed imo as a french main at the br where the tiger is placed France doesn't really need anything, moreover their is still a lot of French made tanks that could be added to the game but gaijin seems to not care about them sadly
Let’s just give everyone a Tiger, a Panther, a t34, a leopard, and a T72. That way nobody has a unique tech tree. Not like mixed battles are the worst kind or anything.

Ya know what else would work? the captured Stug aka the "Freedom Stug" where the US infantry found a Stug III that ran out of gas, painted a big star on it and whipped that sucker around and used it against the Germans. Now THAT would be worth grinding for!
I really hope none of theese make it. Maybe stug 4. Howitsers and mortars suck and have little use in game. Better too add something fun and better. Copy paste vehicles is also boring.

Would be great to see HMS Warspite or HMS Rodney as they bombarded German defence on D Day and it was Rodney's 16 guns that decimated German armour inland. Also the Marder M would be good to see and maybe a few beutepanzers as many french ranks were used during the Normandy campaign. As for German armour in allied hands there was a Panther tank captured and used 4th Battalion Coldstream Guards and was named Cuckoo.
