I know the pain, not from siblings, but within these past ten years alone I've lost both parents, three grandparents, and a very close friend. And I remember them fondly whenever I'm happy or sad. Yes I may cry, but I know they would be there cheering me on or trying to comfort me.
It's horrible to lose family, especially so young, and grieving is never easy, but they are always with you, living forget in your heart, and know like my parents, grandparents, and friends that have passed...your siblings are with you everyday, loving and cheering you on. And I am to.

I think just about every song from Moana brings me to tears, there's something so beautiful and sincere about the. These performances capture all that beauty of the originals and add a little touch that enhances them.

@@jas7232 Well, clearly you didnt watch the same movie bc her SOUL survives ♥ Well, I just watched Moana and the granny's pass through the sea, and later her appearance, and everything she teaches and almost everything in this movie made me cry like a child, never cried so much in a Disney movie as far as I remember, crying of joy and gratefulness for watching this masterpiece.

Do you know the bit they sing at the end after she sings “I am Moana”? The chant-like verse they sing at the end? What are the lyrics and what do they mean? I am absolutely in love with this music and although I don’t speak it I firmly believe the only way to honour a song like this is to learn it in its original language. I’ve already learned Logo Te Pate and We Know The Way by heart and would be so grateful if you would be able to enlighten me. PS: your language is beautiful! ♥️♥️

My goodness, this song in the Moana movie makes me teared eye..😓😓😓I can feel the emotion and just like the song reflection, it says to trust who you are and accept who you are. Be proud of who you are, and what you are. You are created for a purpose and destined to be a warrior and to conquer the world. These songs fits to all young women and little girls around the world.
this song touches me soooo much like this movie means sooo much to me not only because of the cultural aspect but because of the story too. i related soooo much to moana and still feel the struggle some times and i'm just reminded of moana's journey. and music is such a powerful form of art that invokes strong emotion, and i really enjoyed this version of the song. i'm not a pacific islander but i'm indigenous too and i really appreciate this and i love seeing this kind of representation. it means the world to me, and i hope we get to see more of it.
the music of moana is one of my favourite soundtracks of all time. i cannot listen to this song without crying, it reminds me of my nana and how she and i spoken when i was a child, she died of bowel cancer when i was 6 years old and I had already been through things that no child/person should go through in those first 6 years and she had helped me and then she died and 24 years later i still can't think about her without crying. i miss her so much that it hurts and i feel as if she is talking to me through moana's grandmother. many thanks to the singers and performers of the original cast and of these amazing performers, love to you all from Liverpool, England

An absolutely beautifully written and "harmonized" song!!... This song means everything! It stands alone, as one of the most touching & meaningful friendship songs between people! Moana and her grandma! It's just so endearing, the way she always encourages her to follow her heart, to do what she's being called to do, by the inner voice calling inside of her!.. A good reminder to never give up on our dreams! I love how after a whole movie's worth of How Far I'll Go reprises, you realize all along the musical phrase wasn't quite complete. It was always the backing instruments that resolved the melody. It was always missing that final line, which she finally sings at the peak of this song - *I am Moana!* Ughhhhh so many chills.

it became impossible for me to listen to this song, I was in the cinema with my wife and daughter, I turned off my cell phone, my father in Italy was hospitalized , trying and wanted to give a moment of lightheartedness, during the movie my mom and my sister call me. and i was taken by this song ... my dad is dead!! and even today at 50 years I can not hold back my tears .. I knew it was his time ... but even today I can not see this movie without crying ..

This movie hits me, too. It was one of my little sisters favorites. Every time the line “I will carry you here in my heart to remind me that come what may, I’ll know the way” played, I’d sing it to her. Despite my wretched voice, she’d just smile at me her through her ventilator mask. She’s been gone 2 years and it’s so hard to believe it.
She is Moana. I accept this. Nailed it!
There's so much energy from this song! I love native songs in any language, I listen to tons of Spanish songs and I dont speak Spanish. I feel songs that bounce native language with English really hot hard and are relatable to many.

This song literally brings me to tears. Today I found out I don't need to hear it in the movie to have that same reaction. Her voice is so beautiful.
When they were casting Moana, I thought Olivia would be perfect. Hearing her sing as Moana validates she would have been amazing. Auli'i is good, however her voice is too American. Olivia speaks Samoan and English and has a really lovely accent that I thought would have been perfect.
