Most of them haven't built anything for themselves, they financially depend on him. Logan also manipulated Shiv into quitting her job to compete for ceo with her siblings.
@@bigpictureguys8415most people who have “the balls” to stick up to their abuser doesn’t have to see that person or interaction with on the daily - let alone rely on them for their entire future. Usually it’s standing up and moving on without that person.

Pat was actually right about therapist confidentiality, it is a thing but it varies state by state. the hard cases for when they have to break it include when you're actively planning a murder or assault, or abusing a spouse or child, and if a court specifically requests details.
So not this case
It is very hard for them to accept when Pat may be right about something.

Client physician privilege extends to past crimes it just doesn’t extend to future crimes. Kendall would be protected under such a relationship.

I feel like it’s pretty tone deaf to expect abuse victims to just get up one day and stand up to their abuser. Some can do it and that’s great but it’s not easy. Also the thing with the kid wouldn’t be murder it would be manslaughter as it wasn’t premeditated and the kid grabbed the wheel, Kendall is at fault but it’s not like he threw the car in the lake to intentionally kill anyone

Yeah, murder is a hell of a stretch lol. But it's definitely manslaughter. Death by dangerous driving under UK law or I think vehicular manslaughter is the US equivilent.
Logan decided to make Kendall go with him to see the kid because Kendall said that Rhea was making a fool of Logan. So Logan had to torture him. I'm not sure he was planning to take Kendall until he called Logan a fool.
I feel so bad for Kendall. The scene where he’s reaching out to his mom and she’s shutting him down in a passive aggressive way breaks my heart. He’s clearly suffering and she doesn’t care. Both parents are demons.

And I say that because the fans of this show seem to think that the siblings suck but Shiv is somehow the worst because of her treatment of Tom, which of course is bad but like Chris said on some level she does love him she just doesn't know how to show that because of who her parents are...he is collateral damage but she does care for him on some level

The way Kendall and Roman get free passes from people when they've done much worse things is infuriating. They all suck and none of them are good people, but the treatment Shiv gets from the fandom and people refusing to accept that she's being treated differently and is never taken seriously by the people around her because of misogyny makes discussions around her an exhausting affair. She makes stupid choices and thinks herself better than she is, but all of the siblings do that, she's not unique in that sense, the fandom just treats her differently because she's a woman.

As a Brit, I think the 'stiff upper lip'/coldness of their mother more relates to upper-class Brits. I.e royals, aristocrats... those higher echelons of society. 6:23 That's a pretty strange reaction considering how many times Chris has made similar statements in this series. I guarantee you she would have laughed in agreement if he had said that.
It's so weird to watch their interactions with Pat. It's like if half the things he said came out of the mouth of someone else on the couch, the hostility and dismissal would disappear. Whether they agreed with it or not, they'd probably explain their position without hostile belittling.
I understand part of this channel's appeal for some is to have a "dumb one" to beat up on and you may be playing it up for that reason (and forgive me if you are and he agreed to take it), but I don't know guys, these are just becoming too uncomfortable for me the way he's treated in the videos and comments sections, and I'm honestly just really glad Blind Wave finally picked up the series.
Therapist/Patient confidentiality is 100% a real thing.
Logan will probably do Rhea the same way. She was just a tool for him to get Shiv out. Shiv is too independent for him as a ceo, he can't control her from behind the scenes, but he wants to look good in her eyes in case he needs her. Out of all the kids, she's the one who worked outside of waystar and can leave if she really wanted. He wants someone like him to take over, but that's delusional.
