Nice Timex, I've got the T44921 Expedition myself.
Felix Immler knows everything
What about the alox series? Any hidden features on them?
Hello, thanks for your video. where can I buy the scales? thank you
S
YOU'RE TELLING ME I COULD HAVE CARRIED A PIN ALL THIS TIME????
Lols!!
(Takes out tactical pin carrying case) you people really need to do better.
Just checked my knife. There is no hole for a pin
@Duncan my handyman has a hole for a pin there, that's not the plus scales. Only just finding it due to this video!
Pin...Pen.... You say potato, I say tomato...🤭😂🤣😆
The pen caught me off guard. Not a feature you expect from a multitool, but a welcome one
It also fits really nicely in the Wave under the saw 👍
You are a scholar and a gentleman for mentioning and linking Felix’s guide. That man is creative innovation personified. 👍🏼
Dude!? I just mentioned within the last couple weeks on two other edc channels that they should do some Victoranox content. Never see any on any edc channel's! You for the win! And you mentioned Felix which gives you an extra top notch edc content award in my book! Plus. I didn't know a couple things. That's why I wanted content. Very cool and very nice drop. Thank you!
Yup, especially because swiss army knives are legal almost everywhere.
No one is better than Felix when it comes to vic content..he is the GOAT
You should check out @Zac in the Wild
I like the small victor inox, very good for edc, don’t like to carrying big multi tool around every day.
@Bert, o Destruidor yup. The little knife file and scissors. I use it everyday. I like all the others and think thry are cool. But I completely agree. Only one I would carry daily is the little guy. Don't even know its there til you need it.
Felix is the best! Thanks for mentioning him and for the linky love.
I started carrying a Swiss army knife when I was about 20, and I am almost 65 now. I never knew about the pinhole behind the screwdriver, and sure enough I look in mine and there is a pin hole! I am totally shocked! I have a number of Swiss army knives that scales have been broken off or lost pieces and I know I can get parts now over the internet and haven't gotten around to replacing them. I am definitely going to be ordering some parts now. Thanks for making this video I really enjoyed it! And best of all I've learned something new that I can share with people!
I thought it very honourable of you to credit Felix Immler and to provide a link.
Awesome of you to give credit to Felix, he has an awesome channel. You earned a new sub
Regarding that hidden slot, it is actually used on some models. The Traveller, for instance, has an electronic clock in one scale and no tools. On the other side, all three slots are used: to hold the pen and toothpick on one end and the tweezers from the small knives in the normally hidden slot on the other end.
From the first moment that I saw the pin and the Swiss army knife I thought about that "Felix thought me everything", and than I saw that he taught everyone everything 😂
My space shuttle Swiss Army knife has a split down the middle of the Phillips screwdriver. It is used as a key can opener.
Last spot for a compact handcuff 🔑
You think that if they cuff you, they won’t go through your pockets? Gauge a groove out of the inner side of your leather belt at the back , which should be self explanatory. When cuffed up they always run their fingertips on the inner side of the waste band of your pants but never the belt. Don’t forget the tweezers can be pent to open the handcuffs or padlocks also.
@@yourgodsisspeakingtoyouher4284 if they're good they should.
Always taught to check the belt too.
Supposed to run fingers around waist band twice.
Once inside waistband, then inside belt coming back.
Holding the biro under the hook is brilliant. I use my Swiss Champ every day & I didn't know this
I hope to get a replacement for mine. It had the pin and the pen, but I’ve lost pieces and abused it past a breaking point. Even the magnifying glass was useful
Thank you Santa Claus 🥳 didn’t have the ink pen or magnifying glass but it’s got everything else I could want
Victorinox have life time warranty if I’m not mistaken if you ever break or lose a part I’m pretty sure they’ll replace it
Swiss army knives are badass
I literally just looked through mine and the way my swiss army knife is made, instead of the pin hole being next to the Phillips, it's next to the cork screw. Had this thing for several years and never noticed. Thanks for the knowledge!!
The inox steel they use is genious. I once forgot to clean my knife for a whole year after fishing, the blade looks like new after simple cleaning
The quality of their steel is crazy good. Felix Imler did an edge retention test that exceeded all expectations.
I told myself I'd buy a new Leatherman when my Victorinox wears out, but it looks like I'll never need another multitool unless I lose it.
I modded the extra slot for my Zippo flints and used a tweezer from my old knife and used the cap from that.
Funny you're talking about this today, I just ordered some emerald green Plus scales from ebay for my sak climber...
I’m beginning to understand that I’m not nearly as observant as I thought. I’m going to cut down a sewing needle so it won’t interfere with the philips head
dont, unless its got a little nubbin on the top it will fall into the scale
get a pack of 100 sewing holding pins with the little plastic heads on them
then just crack the plastic off with some pliers and its basicaly the same as the victorianox one, plus when you inevitably loose it you still have 99 more
@@randomcow505 indeed, it's a standard, and it's designed to conform without interference.
You can almost modify any knife to carry extra tool's in the handle, well at least o have with my knives.
Glad you mentioned Felix Immler. He's my favorite SAK evangelist.
The hunter lite has the plus scales as well a great model that’s inbetween the two you mentioned in size.
Mine does have the ballpoint pen the tweezers and the toothpick. I did not know it had a straight pin which it certainly does. Thank you for the information
My Victorinox Cybertool L also has the plus scales in transparent red
Haa ha haaa thank you my friend 🤣🤣
Felix you need to make some shorts with your amazing mods, projects and ideas!
@@maxlvledc I'm an old man (almost 50) and it always takes me a little longer than the rest of the world to react to new trends.😅 Yes, I have already made some shorts. I will use this opportunity to revive old, dusty videos again. Thank you my friend!
Felix shout out!
Damn right! He is a SAK Saint lols
@@maxlvledc The Gospel needs told.
Yup Felix h. He's good. I just found out about the ranger grip 78 mod.
I put a shorter toothpick in that smaller secret compartment so I could put the ferro rod in the toothpick slot
LOVE Felix!!
i have the tinker deluxe and I love it
Mentions Felix Immler… instant like. Thanks.
He is the 🐐
I love the shout out to Felix. Love his channel. You behave yourself I might show some loving with you too. ;)
I did not know about the pin! Thats awesome
I don't have one that has these, and I knew all of this! >:O
plus scales come on the cyber tool as well
Just checked my ecoline climber I had for 20 years and regular tinker deluxe, no pin holes.
It’s kind of random which models get the pin hole like my huntsman has the pinhole but it didn’t come with a pin like the compact does
On a lot of knives the Phillips screwdriver used to be slotted for opening a canned ham if you lost the key
I don't own one but I knew :)
(I must admit I was investigating which to buy, watched 60 secrets of swiss army knife etc - all left is the affordability to buy one).
Pressurized too by the way! Because sometimes I like to write jokes when I'm laying in bed. Sorry. Had to throw some Seinfeld in for that one.
I love that episode
Throw, not through
@Rebel Yell blaming my phone. My Dad would have killed me if he saw that. Lol. Thanks thow. 😊 Was hard to get my phone to do that one!
@@notmillionaires though not thow
@@casualobserver2380 lol. You guys are killing me! Love it.
La Swiss Army, es la mejor navaja para el uso diario tanto en el hogar, trabajo y en el campo..!! Te saca de muchos apuros..!! Excelente video
That swiss army is a mighty force
I worked with a file and made my own plus scales for my SAK Handyman. Now my Handyman carries a pen, too.
Nice timex. Reminds me of the one my grandfather wore. Clean and simple.
The watch? It looks like a British Army watch to me
I had the cybertool for quite a while and the sides are transparent. Always wondered what that extra, closed-off slot is for.
I got the original Cybertool when it first came out. Red, with the pen. It is one of my oldest possessions at this point, as it is just so damn useful.
Just read the manual of the knife guys, don't be lazy
Cool watch and knives
The ole, kiss of the dragon holder
Dang, just when I didn't think those could get any neater you prove me wrong.
If Immler doesn't know about a SAK feature I won't believe it exists!
The should have a scale to store two emergency fishing hooks and 4 metres of filament fishing line. The detachable scale could be designed to be the fishing Bob.
Do you know CAD? Let's make it happen.
@@evanbrown7325 I was actually thinking about last night. I might just Cad it up. Thanks.
This is why I love Swiss army knife
My husband loves Swiss Army Knives.
On some websites most models are available with the plus scales. I got my ranger with plus scales.
The secret slot within the scale is actually great for the addition of a ferro tool!
Pen is also included in cyber model and card (do not know how they named this). Really handy for me.
My new, bought in 2022, Hiker has plus scales with pen. My older Hikers, pre 2017, standard scales with only tooth pick and tweezers. All have pin holes under the screwdriver. 🇨🇭🏴
WHAT THE HELL THIS IS AWESOME
😆
The pen fits really nice under the corkscrew as well, for those who dont have the hook
Plus scales are also on the cyber tool lite.
It's actually on more than just the champ and compact
I have the Explorer Plus.
@@Dbuttre I edc a Cybertool lite
yep i have a few of these features and i never knew fornover 10 years lol!!
I have a very similar one that has a small clock attached. It is awesome.
The plus scales also come on the cyber tool range
Cybertool also has the plus scales
i prefer the swiss tech multitool, 4 locking blades and locking tools as well. pliers dont warp easily either and I've put it too work
The cyber tools also has plus scales.
Love Ur channel bro n Felix is an amazing human, thanks for sharing
The pen will thread into the corkscrew for a better hold for writing
You edc people crack me up
Just looked, mine actually has pin slot too, thanks for the tip.
Swiss army was my first ever knife age 11 here in Scotland my dad bought me over 100 knives by age 15
I know all except the last one
Love it!
AND we're left hanging for the secret tool in the secret slot under the scale😂😂😂
thats pretty cool!
I *really* miss the old scales with the analogue clock.
Excellent little video here mate!!
Thank You!
I am glad to have found you, and of course; new subscriber.
That pin could be lifesaving since it can be magnetized and used as an improvised compass
I can't think of a scenario when I need an emergency pen for survival. Before paper, most European cultures, including Switzerland, carved writing into wood with a knife or axe.
I'm surprised you dont have the victorionox watch instead of the timex
Knew all except last one
The pen is also available in the cybertool (with translucent plus scales)
Huntsman Lite has plus tools too
Swisschamp, Compact, Hunstman Lite as well
These plus scales come on the cyber tool models as well
Love the extra knowledge
They also have it on the huntsmen lite
The ballpoint pen slot is also included in Victorinox Cybertool.
Wow 😅 btw nice watch👍👍👍👍
My sportsman lite has these features from 15+ years ago.
the cybertool also comes with plus scales.
The champion plus was there best model ever also had a pen
Wow, I've had my Swiss Army knife for over 20 years, and I am just now learning about the pin. It is indeed still there 🤣
Edit: The pen amazingly still works as well 🤣
Really high quality vid
That was cool
After almost a year and a half of owning my tinker I just now learn I could’ve had a pin the whole time, I was really carrying a Swiss card for no reason
I knew all of these! 😊
Thx 😁
Hello sir. Completely opposite question. Can you please tell me your Timex watch model number?
