This loss was entirely on the Eagles defense. They did not show up at all and Gannon needs to go. The offense, especially Hurts, did everything they could to win the game, but the defense couldn't reciprocate. Oh well. Eagles are gonna be a great team for a long time so I believe we can get back to another SB.

While this hurts(no pun intended) right now as a Philly fan, I can’t say how proud I am for the future of this team and how jalen proved he is the man and will continue to be. I was really pulling for the Eagles. Yes, the defense didn't show up in the second half, but I also believe the Hurts fumble that turned into a KC defensive score made a great difference in the turnout of the game. O-line gotta protect the QB at all cost.

That's a risk qbs take when they decide to run so much. Fumbles often occur when the QB is decided whether to throw or run and in between when they aren't securing the ball very well get hit.

The fumble would prevent him from getting MVP other than the fact that they lost. But they most definitely aren't going to give MVP to a player on a losing team who fumbled and gave up 7. Mahomes had a more perfect game with 3 tds, no interceptions and no fumbles. Chiefs scored TDs on all their drives in the second half except for one in which they intentionally avoided getting the TD to run out the clock.

Idk if they're really built to last. Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson are the main reasons why their O line is so good, and they're definitely not no spring chickens. Kelce is 35, Lane is 32 and Kelce has been considering retirement this year and last year as well.

Give Hurts the same exact contract as Mahomes: 10 years, $450m, with a player opt out in year 4, a team opt out in year 6. Structure as such where the majority of the money is given as a roster bonus (like Mahomes deal).
If Hurts wants to get paid like Mahomes then he needs to play like Mahomes. Hurts had a good year, sure, but still well out of range of Mahome's numbers. Had hurts won the SB than he would have a better argument for getting paid the bigger bucks.

The Eagles defense is one of the the best in the league. They definitely have the personnel. The defensive scheme and coordinator is the problem. You plug in DeMeco Ryans we’re unstoppable.
Mahomes is unstoppable.
Hurts only has one legit weakness in his game right now, and that’s his arm strength. But that being said, arm strength is a bit overrated in the grand scheme of things. As long as you’re accurate and can get the ball to your weapons, you’ll succeed. Hurts has been super accurate all year long.

The eagles defense got torched but it’s not bc of lack of talent or skill it’s bc of Gannon. Gannon refuses to make adjustments and his philosophy doesn’t work against elite QB’s. Our pass rush let us down yesterday I won’t deny that but a lot of that loss falls on Gannon for refusing to make adjustments.

The shoulder wasn't the reason why he didn't get the ball downfield. He said after the game that he accidentally stepped on Jason Kelce's foot when he threw the ball.

Skip and Shannon saying most players on the eagles are very good but they aren’t up there with the best players. That being said, that’s what makes us so great. A lot of teams have 3 or 4 great players, and the rest are sub par and may make a play here and there. The eagles on the other hand only have a couple great guys, yet the rest are still very good and it makes us a more complete team. Though we def need some more pieces on defense next year.
