    One of the great things that the EU did was highlight the jedi flaws. Luke Skywalker rebuilt the New Jedi Order. But in doing so, he accepted that the jedi pre Empire was outdated. But also, their ideology was failing. Luke changed this by stating that jedi can marry, fall in love and show anger to a degree. Also, train force sensitive beings no matter their age. He truly made a great jedi order. The reason this jedi couldn't sense this darkness was because they were weak. Anyone could see Palpatine was the Dark Lord and Anakin's allegiance towards him. If it happened in Luke Skywalker Order, it would have been sensed sooner.

      @@TrueDarkness458Lukes Jedi Order had formidable foes. From the Thrawn rise, Yuuzhan Vong Invasion, Abeloth and Lost Tribe. They killed many jedi in their battles but never eradicated. Lukes jedi withstood it and still thrived.
      Side note * this is why I can not STAND the Disney trilogy. It should of been based around Luke Skywalker and the New Jedi Order. Not Rey.

      They covered why jedi didn't form family. It's because force powers were genetic and gave rise to powerful clans that eventually went to war with each other.

      @HellfireClub242 Před 5 měsíci +15

      @@MA_KA_PA_TIE And that was a flaw that Luke highlighted. His prominence with genetic or magic with the force was evident. After the Thrawn wars, his code of marriage approval was passed. But his thinking was that jedi are beings that deserve equal emotions. Being a jedi of the past restricted this. The jedi of the past were constrained to the jedi code. Thus being only for the order and not themselves. Lukes Order had jedi follow a code but also their heart. Making them stronger jedi in the long run.

    In the EU books it was revealed that the reason that jango Fett was selected as a template for the Clones was precisely because he had learned a method to keep his mind neutral when he was attacking. He learned that this prevented Jedi from sensing the intentions and using the attack anticipation skill of the force to know exactly where he was going shoot or attack. This is one of the main reasons why Obi-Wan failed to capture jango Fett on Kamino and he was having a very hard time in combat with him.
    This ability was passed on to the clones when they were created because Palpatine KNEW it would prevent all but the most powerful Jedi from sensing their desire to attack until it was too late. This is another reason why it took a Jedi on Maces level to be able to kill Jango Fett which even seemed to surprise Count Dooku.

      @@Matt-yg8ub - And makes it almost impossible for the Jedi to Sense their treachery until it was too late. That's why most of the Jedi didn't sense their clones turning on them because their minds were essentially emotion less and so nothing resonated in the force for the Jedi to pick up. This is why when the Jedi were being attacked and shot, they didn't react. The force would normally guide their hand to move the lightsaber into the path of the oncoming blaster bolts or projectiles a split second before it got there which is how they were able to deflect them so perfectly. Palpatine knew exactly how this works of course and this is why the Clones were created the way that they were so that the Jedi would not automatically be able to block the bullets when the clones turned on them from order 66.

    In Ahsoka, when young Ahsoka tells Anakin that he was more powerful and dangerous than anyone realized, he just asked if that was what this was all about, as if all the people he hurt and killed as Darth Vader was a brief misstep. He might be back to his Anakin self as a Force ghost, but how can he ever make up for his acts as Darth Vader? He brought his own vision of Padmé’s death to reality by the very act he took to prevent it. She lost the will to live because she knew there was no going back. Shaak Ti has been depicted dying several ways: by General Grevious and by Anakin/Vader in SW3 deleted scenes, and by Starkiller in SW: The Force Unleashed. Disney confirmed her death was by Anakin/Vader's blue lightsaber in the Jedi Temple during Yoda's vision of the future in an episode of SW: Clone Wars animated series. I think this decision was the least satisfying, because at least it could be assumed Shaak Ti put up more of a fight before her death by Grevious or Starkiller.

    I think the Jedi Order being destroyed was not just the Sith striking back but I think it was also the will of the force. The prophecy said that "The Chosen One will bring balance to the force". The Jedi Order (ultimately Yoda) added the last part of "and destroy the Sith". The prophecy never said that the chosen one would arrive and destroy the Sith (one of Stupendous wave pass video addressed this). Because Yoda was soo dogmatic and closed minded when it came to the fullness of the force that the force was frustrated with him and the entire order as a whole. Over the years Yoda became a hypocritical, self-aggrandizing, selfish, and also a cowardly Grand master when it came to the will of the force. Maybe the force wanted the Jedi Order to be destroyed but only the Jedi (and/or any other force user) who did not try to suppress the force was saved during this event. This I think could have some merit here.

What makes you so strong by stabbing someone from behind or killing innocent and untrained youglings. Vador may be strong but ultimately he was a coward with no honor whatsoever. He totally deserved what happened to him. Being deceived is one thing but doing what he did in the jedi temple is just unforgivable. Leia was right not to forgive him so easily. of killing it cost Jar jar a limb in the process . If jar jar never acted and kill most Jedi before Anakin got to the temple he would have been good as dead. • @MrEffectfilms
    @MrEffectfilms Před 5 měsíci

    I always thought the answer was much simpler. The Jedi didn't sense anything from Anakin because there was nothing to sense, Anakin was gone.
    Ahsoka tried to reach out to Anakin around the time of Order 66 and she felt nothing, it was like Anakin just vanished. Since several Jedi we're all being killed she naturally assumed he must have died along with everyone else, hence why the reveal that he was not only alive but now a Sith Lord was so strong that it literally knocked her unconscious.

    Yeah because of the massive power of the dark side, permanenting and shrouding everything through the force, enhanced by Sidious revel and Anakin's fall. Combined with the clones effectively being in a trance like state of good soldiers follow orders it is no wonder that ythe Jedi were unable to sense anything before it was too late.

    So I get that none of them could sense anything from the force but you know what bugs me is this, your nervous the force is feeling wrong but you can’t find a why? My reaction would be to start been on the lookout for trouble and as we had heard that the Chancellor was the Sith Lord me seeing a small army of clone troopers marching towards the temple would instantly put me on guard as the chancellor is the one able to give direct orders to the clones, my first thought wouldn’t be oh they must be here to protect us it would of been this is extremely unusual I don’t trust it.
    Also while it’s a cool shot them poor clones must have been warn out as it looks to be at least a mile or more walk up to the temple and that’s before they even hit the stairs going up to the main doors (and still no one saw them slowly marching towards the temple for like half an hour).

    That picture of him killing kids is fucked! That's just twisted. In regards to the events of Order 66, I honestly think the whole thing was rushed. I would have liked to see more of Vader hunting and killing Jedi. The initial part of the clones attacking should have just been the start of it. Really, a whole movie should have been dedicated to the hunting down of Jedi, and how some managed to escape by the end, setting the stage for a New Hope. Padme should also have had the twins and been on the run from Vader for the entire movie. Leia remembered her mother, so she should have been a young girl at least before Vader finally hunted Padme down.

    What if Anakin had no murderous intent so none to detect. Kids tried to murder him with swords and knives. Perfectly medically healthy wife commits a self righteous suicide. Anakin burned him like a witch without charges or trial only to have him and Palpatine have Anakin assist their suicides which is not against the law or some moral beliefs and the universe wanted to blow up Anakins costume which kept him alive and was strong enough to fend off all the people attempting to murder him. So what if there was no murderous intent cause it was all self defense meeting force with force? What if Anakin were the hero and all else the child nabbing emotion suppressing kill without trial kind of folks.

    Lets be honest there wasnt powerful jedi left there. At least ones that would've challenged Vader. Also no jedi is surviving 10000 clones. Even Vader. Also, the clones lost all emotions when ordered to commence order 66 so jedi wouldn't sense them. And Vader was a Jedi, so even his turn wasn't sensed. If any felt him, it was just Anikan. So his clones went unseen and most Jedi are weak, theres a single Yota, Windu, and Kenobi. Most are Cainin or Cal Kestis. Weak and lacking foresight. The strongest members were dead or gone. The 501st killed padawans and young knights. Shock TI was the only true master left. And she's nothing compared to Anikan.

    Shaak Ti's death in canon makes absolutely no sense. Legends makes better sense of her death. In legends, she fought Starkiller and was considered a powerful and worthy opponent by Galen Marek (Starkiller). She committed suicide. This is why I can't and won't accept canon. It is lazily written and thrown together. For the most part, I accept Legends.
