I was pregnant and still TECHNICALLY married... People who never was married before and going through a divorce should STAY MUTE. My ex decided that he didn't want to sign the divorce papers to "teach me a lesson" so it was about 4 yrs AFTER I filed that he finally signed ONLY because I had gotten into another relationship and got pregnant and because I was pregnant if he didn't sign he would have had to pay child support for a child that wasn't his. People NOT gonna sit around and put their life on HOLD all because the other party want to HOLD ON to the past... Nah, life is a revolving one nothing stands still!

For decades, people have tried to use these 2 passages as justification to get remarried, not understanding that Jesus was telling them that if you are betrothed (engaged) to a wife and you find that she slept with someone else (fornication) prior to consummation of your marriage, you can put her away and be betrothed and married to another because your covenant has not been made complete through consummation. Two have not yet become one. For all other circumstances, you will be considered an adulterer. If you consummated your original covenant marriage, divorced and remarried while your original spouse is alive, it is adultery in God's eyes.
His disciples' response let us know that they grasped and understood the seriousness and finality of what Jesus said. They concluded that if you cant get out of marriage once it is consummated, it is better not to marry! Jews become husband and wife before consummation--through betrothal (engagement). The instruction in these verses spoke according to the Jews OT law and how it would be different for them under the new.
God gave us instruction for life in his word out of love, to spare us from the wrath to come for violating it. Everything is happening in this world as the Bible has said. The lake of fire is real and no different. God keeps his word. May the Holy Spirit convict and convince you of the truth that you might repent and be saved.
I didn't make the rules. Kindly take it up with God. Your disagreement with him will not altar his judgment against sin. God loves you! Receive the love of Jesus as the atoning sacrifice for your sins. Have faith in him and obey him until the end. 🙂
