Yes... the Xbox One version struggles quite a bit compared to the PS4 version in both resolution and frame rate, this is to be expected considering the hardware, but I still find this port extremely impressive, keep in mind there is running this game (which already runs with some performance issues on new consoles) on a console from 10 years ago that was still using DDR3 RAM (being 3 GB for the system and only 5 GB for the games) with a considerably slow Jaguar CPU running at just 1, 75 GHz, not an easy task for a game like Hogwarts Legacy.
The Xbox One X version even managed to have a higher resolution than the PS4 Pro and Xbox Series S versions, that's amazing, the team did a great job on the optimization.

Idk where u got these numbers but I'm fairly sure the xbone runs at 900p 30fps while the one x runs at 1080p 30fps
Nintendo Switch version next... not looking good, if it can hold a locked 30fps...that would be a miracle. But the resolution is going to be sub par 720 docked.

The Xbox One X is one of the most underrated videogame machines ever
Yup runs many games at 4K or close enough like here. At a NATIVE resolution whereas the SX and SS use FSR upscaling and dynamic resolution. The X is usually "fixed" and doesn't jump between high and lower resolutions the entire time. That's why on it's released I got one, it was "pure" and way ahead of it's time, and ahead of the PS4 Pro.
I recently launched Elden Ring on Xbox One X and was surprised by high resolution, I was sure it was native 4K or so.

Considereing how poorly this game runs on any pc with less than 32gb ram, it's a miracle they managed to port this to xbox one.

@@D-D-- No it does not... Lot's of people complaining about stutter. Hogsmeade for me was a stutterfest before I upgraded to 32gb (2x16gb ddr5).

Remember when everyone was freaking out because Battlefield 4 was 720p on Xbox One and 900p on PS4? Good times! I'm really surprised this game isn't running at 200p on Xbox and 350p on PS4 hehe
@@r.o.6180 I mean battlefield 4 was still made for 7th gen still and devs didn’t adjust their engines to 8th gens architecture yet. That’s how battlefield 1 looks and runs a lot better on the same platform, it will apply once last gen games stop being made as well to 9th gen

@@LUIZMGOx Eu notei muita diferença porque joguei no Xbox SX e no Xbox SS, os gráficos estão de ponta e o carregamento é rápido, indo pro Xbox one não tem como não ver a diferença, mas eu gostei do produto final mesmo com carregamentos mais lentos e gráfico menos sofisticados. Toda via se vc gosta do universo Harry Potter e jogo de mundo aberto pode investir seu dinheiro.

Xbox one x was always better than PS4 pro so no surprises there.

The One X port its a bit disappointing as only the resolution is upped compared to One S, otherwise the whole game is exactly the same, just a straight port, no optimization whatsoever.
One X has more RAM than SS but it has not higher, not even equal but lower LoD, and thats because the publishers didnt want to pay for optimization.
@@stephonhines6554 nope, look at the technical specs. The Xbox one X held the crown for the world's most powerful console until the ps5 and Xbox series consoles were released. In fact, the Xbox series X just beats the ps5 by a small amount. Seriously, look online at the hardware these consoles sport.
@@ryutenmen pretty sure that stuff you mentioned is quite CPU intensive. The series s sports a much faster CPU but obviously we all know a slow GPU.
Edit: I now know that adding an SSD to an Xbox is really easy, which would drastically improve loading times.
Performance is good but I couldn't play the game like that on the One X. Exploring Hogwarts is one of the main appeals of this game, if I had to wait that long for every door that I want to open, I would just not bother

Its only in the castle. Its not everydoor but its an excessive amout. The outside free roam works seemless as well as Rdr2. Just wonder why the castle loading took so much of a hit?

Vamo ignorar o fato que os gráficos no Series S é bem superior né? A resolução do Xbox One X é maior, mas tá rodando no preset gráfico da geração passada, e não tem modo 60fps pois o processador é inferior e não aguenta.

Pero la versión de Series S|X ya lo corren por default a 60fps y con mejor carga grafica. A menos que quieras ahorrar un poco, no le veo mayor utilidad a comprar la versión Old Gen y jugarla en la Gen actual
Tengo una Xbox series s, por error compré la versión one y me va súper fluido como está pensando para una consola menos potente no me ha presentado fallos lo juego en un televisor OLED C2, se que debi comprar la versión series, pero no me quejo del juego totalmente satisfecho

I have a Samsung 860 pro 1TB SSD in my Xbox one X and it does magic it loads and plays much much faster no frame drops too even the OS is extremely fast. you need an SSD built in for the ONE X to get its true potential its easy many videos on how to remove that slow 5400rpm HDD, Microsoft at least should have gone with the 7200RPM hybrid SSD drive if they wanted to save money on the one X and that would have been perfect.
So getting a Series X for this game and Starfield, worth it? I have a One X now but also have a PC with 2070 Super but read the game is garbage for that GPU

The only game where I prefer quality mode over performance mode. On the Series X, the difference in graphics is just too noticeable.

4:02 check this bit out this is what's wrong with game development and why we get poor results all the time. Look at the rug on the floor between the 2 gens. They literally had to remove creases from a rug smh. They do all these stupid detail thing's that are pointless and clearly it was better to change it up for last gen.
I have the impression that the Xbox One X can still play games from this generation smoothly. What this console can do is impressive. I had difficulty noticing differences between the images for those in Serie S. But anyone with the same difficulty?
Of course there are differences, especially when the game is released for Xbox One they make the version weaker than the Fat version,I'm left here thinking if this game had been optimized for the Xbox One X how much prettier it would be beautiful

I'd say go for a Series X. I know it's more expensive. But 1, the quality of games can and will be better for you, plus you get the option of performance RT on the Series x. You don't get that on the S. Plus, you obviously get the disk slot, as well as double the storage, and all around a better console. (It's just better to get the X.)
The Series S will have guaranteed compatibility for all upcoming current gen games while they’ve stopped developing for One X and One so it’s probably time to upgrade.
Holy shoot ray tracing is legit the nicest looking thing ever a real deal breaker if you ask me might have to get an x over a s now

Why can't they just put the Xbox One X version 1080p 60fps and add in the details the series X had? The loading compression doesn't count because some people have a SSD in there Xbox One X.
That would’ve been the move and my TV automatically upscsles everything to 4K so I’d already be getting 4K picture with the 60 frames. Forza Horisont gives the option of 1080 P 60 frames are 4K30.

Isso foi um trabalho porco da empresa, não podemos passar pano pra isso, por isso as empresas estão lançando jogos de qualquer jeito até na nova geração ! Testei o jogo no one e no séries x , a do one é uma vergonha! Red dead 2 no one nem se compara com esse lixo de versão.

Few excuses. If they had optimized gaming on the One X as they did for the Series S, we'd see that the One X is a Series S without an SSD. It will have a slightly shorter render distance but if we go down to the quality of the Series S there is very little difference. Just install a SSD in ur One X and u got it.
Buddy 🤦♂️, the CPU architecture in the Xbox One consoles is based on hardware from 2013 whereas the CPU in the Series S/X consoles is based on newer hardware
Pretty big difference, and a pretty big "excuse" simply swapping the HDD for an SSD on the One X barely would solve any problems 😂

I remember people trying to say the Xbox Series S would be the 1440p console whereas the Xbox Series X would be the 4k console. In reality, the Xbox Series X can barely run 1440p. Even more goofy is that Sony advertises 4k 120fps and 8k on the PS5 when that's essentially only reality on video playback.

Xbox One has been showing why Microsoft really dropped the ball last generation,the console was dated when it was new.

It's really time for last gen console to support SSD, HDD is clearly the biggest bottleneck here, but changing SSD won't help much as those console OS limited the performance
The main limit for the SSD in the last gen Xbox consoles is the SATA-II interface used. This prevents the SSD from providing the massive performance boost it would otherwise be capable of. Anyone thinking of an SSD for their Xbox One, S or X should go for an external SSD, as those run off of USB3, which is much faster than the SATA-II connection. I personally use an external 6TB WD Red disk for my One X, so no SSD, but even that one is already 20% faster than the internal HDD.

@@nhkk2893 FSR2/DLSS/XeSS/TAAU/TSR are all perfectly fine at 1080p.
FSR and other upscale techniques takes the load from the GPU and put in the CPU. Xbox One CPU is already ancient, so putting even more work into it in a CPU hungry game like Hogwarts wouldnt be a good idea.
@@ocaradovideoehbixa They could do 1080p + Balanced quality preset (so less than 720p), it would look better and run better. Sure, TSR and FSR2 are slightly more heavier, but TAAU is right there. Rather that than the bilinear scaling 720p to 1080p-4K displays.
As someone who has a Series X at home but a Xbox one X at my girls house it’s nice to know that I’m getting better performance than the “budget” current gen offering. I’ll take a higher resolution & cleaner looking image at the expense of load times. Xbox Series S just looks very blurry imo.

The One X has a better GPU and 2 more GB of RAM but the Series S has a MUCH better CPU and SSD to load in better assets on the fly. The RAM on the Series S is GDDR6 while the One X has GDDR5.
So the One X can target higher resolutions than the Series S but with worse assets and no ability to hit 60FPS.

Opening doors on xbox one version is just pain in the butt. Lack of ssd is actually insane. Like you have to wait for 30 seconds for it. But graphics are decent tho. I thought it will be much worse. Still wonder how switch version gonna look like. I'm scared.
