A beautiful painted furniture makeover perfect for lovers of red! We also took a walk down to the river with Duke, exploring my backyard in beautiful Maine! *Just some constructive criticism here* . You used to have subtitles explaining the chalk painting process but you no longer seem to be doing this. As someone just learning about chalk paint, I find this new video style difficult to follow without subtitled instructions. Also, whilst the area where you live is beautiful, I'd prefer to see the lifestyle shots at the beginning and/or the end of the video. When they are interspersed throughout the video it is interruptive to the painting that you're doing, which is in itself beautiful and very educational. Thanks.

Your videos are excellent because you do the project without a lot of unnecessary information. You get right to the project and its easy to follow your steps. Sometimes you have provided written commentary and that is very helpful. You always choose good music and thank you so so much for taking us on a walk with you and the "dirty dirty dog." I will giggle all the rest of the day at your comedy show. It's gray and raining here in Michigan - sort of dreary - you brought the sunshine for 12:26 minutes. Thank you, Kacha. Red is my favorite color and I happened upon the Rustoleum Farmhouse Red in my local hardware stoređł. I was beyond excited! I have a small shop in my backyard that has a country store look and I used it on the porch columnsâ€ïž. Will now use it on a piece of furniture after watching your video because it came out beautifully as I expected it would! Keep your tutorials coming!

Did you upload before a video on how to prep before painting? I didn't find here. I see that this piece was very glossy before painting but you still didn't sand it.
I'm asking because I painted a small piece in white and had problems with stains bleeding throu, I couldn't find shellac spray here..
It would be wonderful if once you could make a video for your overseas viewers , who can only get the chalk paint but not the other products including the ones you use to prep.

Miri Lachovitz Iâm sorry you canât shellac, idk what I would do without it. Shellac is my go to for bleed through. Does amazon work for you? I know they can be purchased there. Also I think killz makes a similar product. You just want to try and find a stain blocker type of primer or product!

Does the job just fine! A bit less water is needed as it's not as thick as some others, I love it!

Sometimes you cant do anything. I like to use coffee beans to try and combat that. Really the best way to avoid it is to not buy smelly furniture!

I do not agree with you about leaving drawers closed and doors .. you will have a very light edge around it when opened ..
Emma Burgess did you watch the entire video, I clearly show where I open the drawers and paint to avoid this!
Kacha I did.. you did paint it .. once .. thereâs a big difference to me.. but thatâs me.. and if I close my drawers or doors right after painting they stick but yours doesnât so you say. Guess paint dries differently here in the USA..
