I have no idea what the history of this band is, but it gives MAJOR Symphony X vibes. Any connection or intentional homage? Just the same genre of like...symphonic metal? Feels very Symphony X like. Like the Odyssey album or something. I like it.
Edit: Looks like this is an Australian dude out of Tasmania and is a 1-man project? Symphony X is New Jersey which...I'll be damned, I guess something good CAN come from New Jersey, who knew?

@@fiercedeitymetal You're welcome. Also, I understand that the kick drums have triggers in this album so the music have more a punch, but it sounds a bit too clicky for my taste. No offence, but next time when you guys do the mixing, At least allow the heavy guitars to take the lead in the recording so that way, it feels heavier. Overproduction kills any kind of music anyway. Sorry. LOL

@@fiercedeitymetal Oh, okay. Just pointing that out because for most of the modern metal albums I've listened to (especially modern death metal) tends to sound way to clean and over-produced for it's own good and the drums were recorded and edited too much "on the grid." LOL

@@fiercedeitymetal Well the goal actually was to try to pay tribute using all original motifs and riffs and just have the lyrics go through the whole series from Zero Mission, the Primes, all the way thru Dread. A tall order but I think we did a decent job cos Id count it among the near handful of songs on the upcoming album Im most proud of :)
@@fiercedeitymetal I agree though the soundtracks across the series are incredible. From Tanaka-san's initial ideas (and he would go on to do mind blowing shit on Earthbound), to the legends themselves Yamamoto-san and Hamano-san (I recently found out Hamano-san also did the Mario Kart Super Circuit OST which floored me cos I grew up on those tracks in addition to the metroid stuff)
