I’m a mother of five and grandma of four. How I enjoy seeing young women like you and my daughter, who love being keepers of their homes and good mothers to their children. I’m not saying we women can’t have other areas of interest, of course we can; but this job of prioritizing home making makes for a happy family life. I'm much older than you are, but I lost both of my parents in 6 days. There was little time grieve since I had hip replacement surgery a few days later. This video is a blessing to me thank you.

No honey you’re not alone in those feelings. I’m so sorry to hear of you’re grandma. You’re not being a downer either. My kids are grown and have grandkids. I’m 52 and have 8 grandkids. 3 lives here in Texas and 3 in Louisiana and 2 in Minnesota. When they are all together over here in Texas they all want my time and love and I’m so happy to give it. Also! I didn't do much at all this Christmas season due to morning sickness, fatigue, and three toddlers running around, but I've decided that I'm making up for it with Valentine's day! January and February are going to be super festive for us. I'm even leaving my tree up and decorating it for Valentine's day. I'm super excited for it! 💗

After the story of your grandparents' table, you played the song "Silver Bells" which was my grandfather's favorite Christmas song; he and my grandmother passed away earlier this year and it's our first Christmas without them. I had so much fun growing up with my cousins. Your table was magically put together. You did your grandma's table beautiful honor. You are teaching your children what is most important in life. What you said about “the fact that you’re asking if you did enough means that you did”… I needed to hear that so much. This was my first Christmas as a mommy (with my baby on the outside), and I did so much less this year than I did in past years. Partly because I’m juggling so much more with a baby, and partly because we had a wedding out of town one weekend that my husband was the best man for and that just made us extra busy. But I’ve dealt with a lot of guilt over how much less I did this year because I thought, of all years, this should have been the year I did the most! I’m a mom now, I should be doing even more for my child. But I know I did the best I could. I made it as special as I could for her. Thank you for this reminder. It means so much.♥️

That’s so amazing to have things passed down from grandma. My grandmother has been passing things to me as she declutters her house so I’ve been blessed to inherit some old beautiful pieces. Also the snow is so incredibly beautiful. This year I was going to go all out but we got sick with colds so we had a nice quiet Christmas snuggling and relaxing. The past two years our celebrations have included my husband, our two youngest and myself. However, we had a lovely Christmas filled with praise, love, gratitude, and laughter. It just wasn’t a “normal” celebration with our home filled with loved ones. I pray that will happen next year! 🙏🏼

All the toys they got and they still want "my time" and something I baked like banana bread or cookies and that keeps them so happy! Feeling like I dropped the ball on baking the gingerbread men this year but who says I cant make them this weekend? Natalie gives us PERSPECTIVE :)))

My piano advice as a professional classical musician:
- Get a regular tuning in April
- Have your next tuning in October and have the tuner run through it twice.
First having the shorter interval, and then having him tune through it twice should get it all the way up to tune (or as in tune as the instrument will handle) without breaking the bank.
A fall/spring tuning schedule is favorable because the weather and humidity are similar. A winter/summer schedule will necessitate more drastic tuning to be done and you won't be able to focus as much on the long-term goal of getting the piano to A=440.

Listening to u about our grandma reminds me of mine too..cmas eve was always at grandmas house.we would all gather there.open gifts and sing songs.my mom played guitar..and when we sang silent night everyone would start getting ready to head home..we had to drive a hour and half home and all the way we would listen to where Santa was on the radio and the kids were afraid we wouldn’t get home in time lol..it seems once mama passed and grandparents passed,nothing is the same now..all cousins have moved away and there isn’t the bond that held us all together now soo sad..I cherish my childhood and when my girls were growing up..the most beautiful scene on earth is a snowfall!! It’s always breathtaking and peaceful..and to watch nature and the beauty from inside your snow globe was gorgeous!!im sure that house has hosted some wonderful family times and for u to bring family get together now also..I think the house is so happy too..Natalie, u give such peace and calmness.i love watching u.u inspire me.thanks for sharing your love of God and your spirit with us.u have a beautiful family..please do more singing and playing in your videos..Many blessings!!Have a blessed safe New Year!!..
One of my dear friends passed away on 12/22 so it was a somber Christmas celebration. She taught me so much about perseverance, commitments, trust, faith, and prayer.
