She loves the idealized concept of her children more than her children themselves.

    Then scene 2 he walks into a room of the highest ranked people in the kingdom whistling rains of castamere. Again he is the smallest one there but his confidence shows he is the most powerful in the room as the only one to question him is the queen regent, who Tyrion then puts in her place.

    I miss this so much. I miss Tyrion verbally owning Cersei at every chance he got. He and Tywin (and to a lesser extent Olenna Tyrell) were literally the only people willing to explicitly call Cersei out for how stupid and poor at playing the Game of Thrones she is. Margaery was willing to be super caddy about it, but she never explicitly insulted her like Tywin and Tyrion did. I don't care if Cersei's at where she is right now in the show, it's under the worst circumstances possible because the best Cersei can do is take a large, blunt object approach towards solving all her problems and literally everyone now hates her, which is somehow more people than hated her before.

      @mareksilhart3307 Před 5 lety +46

      She was queen mother, it was from part her fault. It was Tyrion who destroyed the enemies at Kings landing. She has won nothing, only lost all her children, all her legacy, the reason to play that game. And now she pulled lannisters into trouble by indebting them to afford golden company to have one more vain, desperate attempt to play game of thrones. She is indeed the most powerful? Naah, she is weak, even a random, foolish guy from the mob persuading people that he can communicate with gods by whatever way was more powerful than her. Even with the greatest army in the world she will be very weak, compusilve puppet that takes everything too personally, puppet that respects only power, puppet that sees all lords equal to her in power and weatlh as her enemies, so inevitably if her rule continues, nothing will be left at the end. And this is not how the game of thrones is played well, since it slowly will turn, and it actually already happened, everyone against her. Cercei is obviously not clever at all, but she thinks quite the opposite.

    What an all-around brilliant sequence!! That "why are you here?" from Joffrey was so good, almost with comedic timing. And the witty dialog between the siblings... 👌
