  • Love Potion is a tasty Valentine's Day Cocktail with Cognac and Sherry specially created for the #LovePotion2021 challenge. The Love Potion bring a warm Cognac with a combination of Cherry Liqueurs and aged Pedro Ximenez Sherry. It is a delicious valentines cocktail recipe for you to make at your home bar. If you like Cognac cocktails, the Love Potion is one to add to your Valentines Day Cocktails list.

    LOVE POTION
    - 8 Seedless Red Grapes
    - 30ml Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal Cognac
    - 15ml Cherry Heering Liqueur
    - 10ml Luxardo Maraschino Originale Liqueur
    - 10ml Cranberry Juice
    - 10ml Pink Grapefruit Juice
    - 5ml Pedro Ximenez Sherry
    Coat the glass with the sherry and discard. Shake the rest of the ingredients with ice and strain into your Nick & Nora glass. Garnish with a Liqueur Chocolate.

      Thank you, Anders. I actually created this drink in front of the camera for real. Didn't have an idea I will use sherry, but I am glad I did. It turns out so good.

      I fail on the red colour but ohh boy, the taste of this cocktail is amazing. And of course booze thill the end, even in the garnish

    Great looking cocktail Georgi!!! I'm with you, boozy is best. Cognac is a great base spirit. I need to round up some Sherry and try this. CHEERS!!!!

      You can try it with Benedictine or any fruity liqueur. But for best results the Pedro Ximenez sherry is top choice

    Enjoyed the week. Of the 7 we tried a few (didn’t have ingredients for all 7), and Old Flame was the favorite in this house. And on top of that, my wife preferred even more a New Flame that substituted aged rum and Aperol for the gin and Campari (go figure!) Thanks again!

      It's the slowest sipping sherry ever. I love it but by is so so sweet. Don't think I can have a glass of it.

    Did you use unsweetened cranberry juice?

      Yes. I never use juices if there is added sugar.

      Boozy but so soft and delicious to drink. The balance was just right. It went down so quick.
