  • Trying to show how tracking is, using SteamVR and Tiltbrush. Very usable. Tracking skipped sometimes at extremes as expected.
    Experimenting with recording mixed reality video without using greenscreen/chroma keying.
    Video and VR doesn't align perfectly yet, probably need to perspective distort VR capture.

    Cool :) What method are you using to get rid of the game background for mixed reality?

      Aria Bennett I'm choosing a total black background in tiltbrush, then once i get the capture and video into video editor, I'm changing the blending mode of the layer.

    As expected? You shouldn't have tracking errors in VR.

      at a extreme yes of course, if you're outside the fov of the camera or lighthouse you bet you're going to lose tracking.

      There's no tracking technology that doesn't have issues at the extremes of it's tracking boundary.
