      yeah. i have asthma and that's basically the symptoms of it haha. but when you go to the doctor there are no tests to see if you have it. it's basically if the inhaler works when you are short of breath, then you have it lol.

      What are you talking about? There ARE tests where the pneumologist have you inhale a triggering substance (IF you have asthma it triggers) plus lung function tests before and after the triggering substance, and there is a big difference between triggered and not triggered.
      Can’t believe I have to explain this.

    • @xenay911
      @xenay911 Před rokem +1

      And for the record, they help with any kind of shortness of breath. Just look at how many athletes dope themselves on salbutamol before trainings (only actual asthmatics are allowed to use inhalers in competitions, obviously)

    I had seen this video and yet I had not noticed that he was taking his inhaler, I thought he was taking his water bottle. I admire your sense of observation, I think your job as a nurse helps you notice certain signs. Why do they continue to use his machines when they are aware of his health problem? even if he continues his concert I have the impression that he is always annoy when he sees the smoke.

    • @MyMindMood
      @MyMindMood  Před 2 lety +13

      @Charlene Mwt - He's VERY sneaky with it. I don't think most people would notice, because he's dancing/moving/entertaining while he's off to the side. A lot of times too he waits until the song is done when the lights are down. I think he's gotten good at hiding it (even more so now) because it's harder to catch him taking his inhaler but we know he is because of people who are at the concert see him doing it. Why the fog? I suspect it's a big part of the entertainment factor and perhaps he just deals with it.

      @@MyMindMood I agree with you he never leaves in the middle of a song where he asks the public to sing when he is too out of breath (I think). He was always very discreet about this subject and I think that with the time he is even more careful, I watched his concert One only night in New York and from time to time we could hear him or see him cough but as soon as the lights were off he went to the back of the stage.
      I'm not an expert in shows but there are no other means of entertainment for the concert than his smoke machines if it makes him sick

    • @MyMindMood
      @MyMindMood  Před 2 lety +5

      Yeah. I also noticed that he has his inhaler inside of something (to cover it up) while it's on the table and not in clear view. He's surely trying to keep it more under wraps. He also wants to have access to it quickly without relying on anyone else.

      @@MyMindMood He seems very discreet on this subject and apart from the Wembley concert (during 1D) I have never seen anyone else manage his inhaler. I think he is the kind of person who considers that as it is his problem, it is up to him to manage it.

    I've had asthma all my life, it's not so hard to breathe in, its when you try to breath out is when it's difficult. To me his asthma isn't stable because the smoke activates the tightness in his chest. It's so sad because surely they can do the concert without the smoke?

    He's been suffering from asthma triggered by these fogs and smokes they use since 1D days. Come on man, the organisers or the background designers or whoever you call them should know to tone that down by now. Straining his lungs like that while singing for hours can lead to respiratory distress which could be fatal.
