Game will be gankers paradise now.
I love the fact the characters I spent time designing will finally be allowed to look the way I built them to. Vampires needed a visual toggle at minimum but this is good for variety so works for me to. Nothing in a mmo should be the required hard counter for everything. Or so strong itâs required

Yeah I didnât like the vampire look on every character either on some such as gank looked cool , it needed adjustment
I'm cooking a vampire build that focuses on health drain and bleed really going into the theme and it works I just need to come up with a good set.
Master dual wield be good and blood drinker set

It needed 30% to work in conjunction with blood frenzy. Now vampire is dumb.

Blood frenzy was my favorite skill along with ult gen Siphon
From a pve pov I love this change. Never got to enjoy any Vamp dmg reduction cause stage 3 is jus too much of a sustain hit. 10% at stage 1 is more than enough â€
Also fk them for the stupid Arcanist nerf though
Yeah I was not a fan of the sustain issue thing but the 30% felt too good to pass up
I play a Dark Elf vampire Arcanist so getting multiple nerfs in the upcoming patch with a nerf to stop flail from being able to do execute damage and now nerfing vamp so heavy handed like this,.. and just a month after I came back to the game aft being away 6 years makes me a sad panda!
Vampire and werewolf both need huge reworks. Especially vampire, as it sits now, its worthless

Yea that's crazy because vampires should be hard an to kill an deadly an have a weakness with sun light like the movies. An werewolf should be tanky an dangerous meaning that vampires should it harder then werewolfs but they should have some type of burst damage too......... my question is. is it possible for a vampire night blade to actually kill a tanky werewolf with damage??

I just hated seeing players use vampire only for the undeath passive which is 95% of people and it really saves players when it shouldn't tbh
Itâs was far too overpowered and need balance and werewolfâs will become much more numerous now

My only two vampires were stage 1 only (for RP). This is nothing but a buff for me.
Yeah, this change will not affect every player and will definitely reduce the amount of vampires we see
The devs finally need to split the pve/pvp balancing. It's always too harsh going into both directions.
The werewolf&vampire are the perfect example. Pre-nerf the vamp was more or less a necessity for pvp, now it's obsolete if you're not a ganker.
Werewolf always felt left behind in pve imo. Also I never really played it in pvp due to the procset meta instantly deleting everything. Not worth the 250 ultđ
I feel like my Torc dk is gonna be a beast now with that extra 15% reduction. I am intrigued.
Itâs gonna definitely bring the torc mythic to the forefront with it being a solid setup already đ„

Itâs works well on most setups from what Iâve seen havenât personally tested this but surely a dk would fit well as the only thing that this mythic doesnât give is penetration which would synergise well with corrosive?
Realistically, any skill line that everyone gets for a passive bonus was way overdue for an adjustment. The current skill-line should be called UNDEATH and not Vampire it's so strong. Rest of Vamp is weak by comparison. Also I miss old School "Batzes".
Those were the fun days lol. Bats was deemed too G'damn strong, yet we allow Insta-Bombing today. Why one and not the other? Bats was Dot Damage. đhmmf
Yeah vampire was primarily used on most builds for undeath and ultimate is not particularly great changes were needed
Honestly, I still think vampire needs rework. I donât like the 20 sec duration ULTS while WW have almost indefinite transformation as the fight goes on. Vampire has a lot of drawback compared to WW. The only good thing about vamp is undeath passive. Now they nerfed it, then vamp r now where necro was before the buff.
Vamp skills are kinda weak and hardly being used. I donât remember when ppl used any vamp skills on me except mesmerize. Idk, Iâm still not happy with eso vamp. I do love Skyrim vamp and wish it would be in eso, especially the look of scion form.
Yes I do understand where youâre coming from. The ultimate shouldâve lasted a lot longer and I think you will be seeing a lot more werewolves from now on so balance was definitely needed but will have to see if this is the right move or not. The only other skill was blood for blood, which was based around that passive I think the whole vampire really needs a re-Work

Gank builds will stay stg 2 vamp but other than that I think itâll be goneâŠ..you could stay stage 1 for the 10% reduction but thereâs many other ways to get that reduction

Not just used in PvP, in PvE its a good 1 bar IA build , this wreks it ! Totally too much, needs to dial back about 1/2 of this nerf.

There will be a queue for round the corner, LOL. Vampire will no longer be a necessity.
For solo pve content (IA, arenas, WB etc) I'm not sure if this change is good (non-vamp skill cost reduction, less fire damage) versus losing 20% of the Undeath Passive - or not.
Seems like ZOS has gone hard on cutting down on sources of damage reduction since introducing the Rourken Steamguards which you must own the Gold Road DLC to access đ€
Yeah, I think they are only had a PVP focus in mind but always seems to forget about the balance needed and yes, could be a push for gold Road mythics

A nerf was always needed but they did it to much. 8/16 or 10/20 would have been just fine with both points.

that's the problem with alot of MMO's they balance the game around PvP and PvE suffers which is a large percentage of this game,. this nerf was too heavy handed

I doubt they will be gone but I can't believe they nerfed Undeath so incredibly hard. There was absolutely NO reason for that what so ever. Nerfing one of their best passives is unwarranted. I could see a small nerf but not THAT big. This was a nerf to balance PVP and it hurts PvE.. MMO's are notorious for balancing for one or the other so the other suffers.. bad call
Adjustments were definitely needed, but this may have been a little overkill. We have to see what impact this has as players will compensating other areas.
Vampire will still be optimal in PVP. Damage mitigation has gone down but recovery has gone up. Do I need Wretched vitality or n my backbar? Not any more most likely
Yes, sustain will definitely be much easier now as there is less focus on vampire

Vampires should be hard to kill an have deadly attacks an have some type of weakness to sunlight like the movies. An werewolf should take less damage from magic flame an lightning an physical but take alot of damage from critical poisons attack damage. To me the werewolfs on the game ain't nothing like the movie ones an the vampires ain't nothing like the movie ones either because vampires have a weakness to sunlight meaning that vampires should take more damage fighting in the day time.

I like the sound of this with the werewolves and vampires having very strong attacks but massive drawbacks
meh, basically free 10% damage reduction vs. 30% with significant cost increase. It'll be easier to use than ever.

@runkorko People will most likely run Aetherial Ascension or Pariah. Plus those 100 to 0 Nbs do full damage at 100% health to gank. Not saying Nb still don't have crazy damage. But remember, those nbs will ve nerfed too. Making them squisher.
@@jafetortiz1143 not rly. Nb heal to full with 1 key press. Have passive minor expedition and probably major too. Now detect pots are great tool to kill nb, but with the new changes that go away, Reason, NB will keep major resolve 12sec/at base/ +2s for each heavy armor, so they will survive the 10-15 sec reveal using cc/roll dodge/ or simply outrun you. About pariah, im sure ppl wiil try it back, most likely in pair with rally, or some will even use the 15% torc, but last we need is to bring tank meta back to game. Lets wait and see, ZoS have 3 weeks to make the right choices. Im not defending Undeath. but the change is too harsh. Now no one will run stage 4, blood for blood +morphs is dead. Mist too. With Undeath nerfed. NBs wont need the 300 dmg passive to kill you, lots of them run stage 1 even now.

100%, majority of anything that causes mitigation needs a nerf, i hate going up against borderline immortality and having people run away

first they took the most mobile class and gave it one of the strongest shields in the game. "Brilliant" solution. Then they gave another shield that scales from mana in scribing. "Mind-blowing." Now they are taking away from us the skill that allowed classes to survive without shields. It seems to me that the developers just don't play their own game. Considering the still poor quality of the plot of the new chapter, I will probably stop playing the game from tomorrow. Played more than 5 thousand hours.
This is nothing new with zos as they are always known for massive changes good or bad or have to see how this pans out in PVP

glad this got nerfed, nothing should feel mandatory and it really did. now you'll have to make decisions on stacking the vamp 10% with gear defensive buffs
Im a long time pve and pvp tank. There are major issues with damage right now, this will only make it worse. Stacking defense isnt gonna save you. I already use undeath, runic embrace with 3 crux for 6% reduction, have 100% uptime on both minor and major protect, major evasion, 8% unique reduction from ulfsilds, 50k health, max resist, my arcanisr shields, and 2 defensive sets, and im getting melted like I havent in years.

Damage isnât the real issue with this game but I do get where ur coming from , unfortunately players will receive this nerf if they were abusing this or not and itâs a shame it will affect some defensive setups
@@projectjtl my issue is it seems like they do these things almost st random. Like cool, you fixed undeath, but now unless you want to sprint invisible, theres no point to going past vamp stage 1 unless Im missing something.
I'm very happy it isn't a requirement. That passive was too strong and I felt like the only non vamp in any BG I played
I highly disagree with this change. A vampire is supposed to be more Superior than the regular race.
That's the reason why people pick certain races to have an edge up in certain stats.

I agree they should have some unnatural advantages but the undeath was overturned and needed adjustments
You should also get melted by the sunlight or get destroyed by any sort of holy magic but you dont.

I hoped for that nerf for a while now. Its almost to late tbh, because a lot of people are fed up with the tank Meta and already left the game/PvP for that reason.

About time for a nerf. Never liked vampire especially when they changed it totally with was it western Skyrim dlc? Original vamp was better imo.. Eso needs to bring it back. đ
