The green LED follows the signal path. Overdrive into distortion. The red is distortion into overdrive. The Voice switch is more of a set it and forget it thing. I have pedal toppers on the effect on/off switches and just leave the Voice switch in green mode. Overdrive into distortion which seems to be the predominately used signal path.

I just keepit on green mode. The over dive chanel by it's self is great. And use it to boost the signal is phenomenal when using a Rat or hoof or any fuzz. I like having high over drive and low gain distortion. Vol dimed on both channels od gain at 3 or 6 and dist at 8oclock. For a clean but dirty mess. I love this pedal.

Well I think you had to break in that treble knob but boy it sure brokin quick and if it ain't broke don't fix it I can't believe that pedal is under a hundred bucks sounds like you can get all kinds of interesting tones out of it and it's a purple people beater
