    "You know that you don't know " has multiple meanings:
    1. You are conscious of your lack of knowledge.
    2. WHEN you know that you can't know and you accept this with faith, then you know.

      As Sadhguru says "Our knowledge is always miniscule compared to our cosmos, but our ignorance is boundless. So enjoy your ignorance.

    Thank you. would you please make the appearance of your clip so that there be a clear distinction between the autor and Sri Ramana Maharishi even though you've met the master.

    The Master of Falun Dafa revealed many heavenly secrets. One of which is that in the past all cultivation systems, methods, practices and religions only cultivated a person's assistant spirit, and not the main spirit (you yourself). When the assistant spirit succeeded at cultivation, it left, while you continued to go through reincarnation.
    In the past it was a heavenly secret in cultivation circles.
    If you want to advance on a spiritual journey, I recommend looking into Falun Dafa.

    3:24 this is also sometimes termed "mathematical nominalism," which rejects the objective truth of maths. Ludwig Wittgenstein is an excellent philosopher who goes into this same point in great detail in his "On the Foundations of Mathematics."

      Interesting, but did you ultimately miss the message because you’re so locked in definitions which belong strictly to our finite minds? Being a realized being means Sri Ramana is no longer limited by such things.

    • @AnHonestDoubter
      @AnHonestDoubter Před rokem

      @Laurie Francisco no, I did not miss the message. Why do you assume so?
      Ramana's talks, like Wittgenstein's work, act as signifiers to truth. The signs are useful inasmuch as they lead the viewer to truth (without clinging to the signs). A sign points to truth, it remains up to you and I to look where the sign points and see through our illusions in the active-present. Wittgenstein's work is very effective as a jackhammer to chip away at the false concreteness many (especially in west) have in symbols, numbers, words.
      I don't follow your logic that my sharing of this relationship between this excellent talk and Wittgenstein's work should be taken as my "missing the message."

    Verydifficult to understand non dual (adaita)consciousness by dual(Daita) consciousness ie.mind with its objectives chitta memory sense organs intelligence ego to understand underlying existential non dual consciousness like turiyastate can never be understood by ordinary dual (subject-object)consciousness in which we are now So what is the way out..

    Our Guru might have changed his mind about mathematics if he had known about ontological mathematics; the mathematics of being, of light. It has nothing to do with relativity. It is the mathematics of the Self.

    • @lauriefrancisco1084
      @lauriefrancisco1084 Před rokem +3

      As a realized being, Sri Ramana had access to ALL “knowledge,” so you might want to “think” about that statement and belief, and remember what he said about our minds limiting us by its need to concretize everything, 🙏

    • @TheParakeet1999
      @TheParakeet1999 Před rokem +1

      The sages talked about nothing else but reality. They knew about nothing else, that's why they said that all other knowledge that's not of the Self (of truth, of what is) is useless. It's useless not for us when we believe we are people. It's useless in the sense that all knowledge of the world is rooted in ignorance, in a misapprehension, a mistake, therefore it has no base in reality. (By reality I mean the highest truth, the true ground of all that is) but it is useful here in this world we think we live as you live in it.

    • @TheParakeet1999
      @TheParakeet1999 Před rokem +1

      Also, the sages don't know reality because they are it. They only know ignorance or what is false because only in knowing ignorance can they know what they are.
