the insights into the present as being the only time came about clearly from the many times of saying silently om mani padme om
and the unfathomable realization that there is no end
Thank U, infinite intelligence. ♾

You can add that derivative of time is consciousness.
There are no Hindi Translations (dubbings) of these priceless videos of Bhagwan Raman Maharshi. A huge segment of hindi speaking populace are deprived of his teachings which are available only in English or Malayalam.
Will someone be taking up this noble task of translation please?
Beautiful and, i hope everything said here is true......but i info remain agnostic 😔😔for now
Hello Kuro. Being an agnostic is the perfect place to start. Same for being an atheist or a religious believer. We have to start the journey by remaining true to our initial constitution. To do anything else would mean dropping into a painful state of contradiction. Eventually, if the motivating factor behind our search is to find what's true--to find meaning--then our paths will eventually and necessarily converge.... and all three initial positions (atheist, agnostic, and religious believer) will be replaced by something altogether different.
In one respect you could say the miracle slowly appears as we turn our attention toward studying the nature of **what** we are. That's the only place where questions like "is there a God?" can truly be answered. As we study the nature of what we are--carefully, deliberately, accepting nothing that we haven't confirmed through our own direct perception--we make the initial discoveries that begin to change everything! It happens the very instant we discover that there are faculties within us that operate on their own...outside of the will we call "our own".... faculties that have their own governing intelligence. A prime example of this is thinking. No man, no woman, has ever thought a single thought from their own will. No matter how it seems on the surface, thinking isn't something "we do", it is something that "happens within us".... but not as a result of our will. There are lots of other examples.... another one being the subtle communication system that operates through the experience of contentment and discontentment. The moment we discover that there really are these faculties that operate on their own--especially the ones that we always assumed were happening through our own will--we begin to see a depth to life that is truly breathtaking.
Anyway, I just noticed those sad faces on your post and wanted you to know that remaining agnostic is not at all a bad thing. It's the perfect starting place for you. Now just be sure you don't build a permanent camp there. Pack it up each morning and keep searching the path ahead. You'll find it.

Mis-education and indoctrination have misused and confused, rendering most unable to recognize ones true / natural SELF, by causing many to become obsessed with things and with that which one is not, and to believe that to believe means something other than one does not know... He who controls the brain controls the behaviour.
Association not Attachment
Involvment not Entanglement

Does the present even exist? I wonder if there was some sort of discord with the translation and the words got misconstrued.
