    Just watched this lovely little film. Brought back many memories of my time in the Scouts. We used to do a lot of climbing there. Thanks guys.

    Lovely video mate! Planning this for the weekend, can I ask where you parked?

      Thank you. There's not a lot of parking in Little Langdale, but we parked on the road a little to the left of the pub. There's always the National Trust carpark opposite Blea Tarn, if you fancy a slightly longer walk, but otherwise it's the road (taking care not to block access, of course!). Hope you enjoy the walk!

    Interesting place will have to visit there if this is near quarry side falls. Also, can you tell me what camera you use is it a Go Pro. Thanks

      It's across the valley in Little Langdale - more information here: www.threeshiresinn.co.uk/explore/history/cathedral-cave The camera we used in this film is the Sony Alpha A6500, with a gimbal, tripod and 20mm F2.8 Wide Angle Prime Lens (we also use a DJI drone), but we do use GoPro Hero 8 and now 9, particularly in wet weather.

      @@LakeDistrictFilms Thanks for the info. I have a Go Pro 7 but will upgrade to the 9. I'm hoping to get out walking more but at the moment cannot travel

      This was fantastic thank you. Where would be the best place to park please for the cathedral caves?

    Great video buddy were can you park please

      Thank you! It's a bit tricky in Little Langdale, because there isn't a great deal of parking space. I parked a little way up the hill from the pub, on the right hand side (before the road off to the left), but you can't rely on getting a place.
      The pub (quite reasonably) don't want people parking there and walking. There's sometimes space further back towards Elterwater, between the pub and the row of cottages, but again it depends on how busy it is.
      Hope that helps!

    Hi I have a question do you have to climb up the rocks when you leave the cathedral or is the another way to get up

    • @LakeDistrictFilms
      @LakeDistrictFilms  Před rokem

      We think that's the only way to get up from inside, although you could always walk up the outside (following the path to the right of the main entrance) and then down the steps into the higher chamber. The rocks themselves aren't that steep or long, and there might be a slightly easier route than the one in the film. Hope that helps!
