    Did the wall have an orange peel to it? If you do, how do you match that? I used one in a can and it came out way too bubbly. Can I just sand that till it matches the rest of the wall?

    We had a drywall guy come in and finish it off. He used a wet sponge to wipe off the mud. Can you do the same here? Thanks.

    • @everydayhomeimprovements9345
      @everydayhomeimprovements9345  Před rokem

      Hi, sure exactly what you mean but if you’re referring to he used a sponge to wet sand the spackle yes you can do the same here as long as your spackle job is good. If not, you wanna use a sanding sponge thank you for your interaction please subscribe it’s free and if you want to be really solid like and share. Thank you.

    So my issue is you leave parts of the ceramic in place? And a new tp holder may go right on top of that & good luck tryn to screw another in its place. Seems to me a california patch is better

    • @everydayhomeimprovements9345
      @everydayhomeimprovements9345  Před rokem +2

      There is no ceramic left. You’re just seeing the impressions of the back of it in a little bit of thin set that’s left. You will have no problem mounting anything new to this area but thank you for your interaction. I’d appreciate it if you would subscribe to the channel it’s free and if you ever have any questions about anything feel free to reach out. Have a great day.

      @everydayhomeimprovements9345  Před rokem +1

      Yeah, give it a try and check it out. It’s really quick and if you use 20 minutes spackling you can get all your coats on in the same day.
