I married at 34000 salary in 2013 and was living in hyderabad at that time in rented house, started family life with negative bank balance, things moved on, now in abroad earning 1.8 lakhs, my 2 children are now aged near 10 years, took a bold decision 10 years back and settled now, otherwise no one will marry me at 40+ now after settling down. Very true I am married and have a kid total 6 members including my sibling. Total expenditure is 60k vary to 70k if any unexpected expenses pop's up. This is just for basic requirements. Food shelter and daily needs, School fees transportation books extracurricular activities are additional for kid. Office transportation additional. Average monthly expenses turn out to be 20k accounting this extra expenses.
I was not aware of this until I sat and wrote my expenses.
Thanks to sir for the awareness created for the betterment of society financially.
I know my expenses now so I save my extra left over first and stick to the budget.
I stopped using upi as much as possible and most transactions are in cash.

Some Expences are missed out here like life insurance and medical insurance premium. I'm a regular follower Anand sir, As I live in Bengaluru, I keep my expences within 30K (only daily need expense not included any appliances or furniture as they are 1 time expence) I live with my wife & 2yr Kid. I maintain 3 bank accounts, (1)salary (2)Expence (3)Loan a/c for my home loan. Every month from my salary a/c, I transfer only 30K to my expence a/c. Remaining will be spent for my loan and savings/investment. Still I save few in my expence a/c every month which we spend for outing.
Including ott and internet package only 824 with gst by jio and airtel.
For 2 persons just 500 is more than enough for nonveg
