- Today I went to the Mebu Performance Meeting where mostly customers showed their cars. Car Garage Mebu is specialized in upgrading Ford's 5 Cylinder engines, so a lot of the ST and RS models came by. A video about the other cars will be uploaded soon!

I can unbolt the rear suspension from a Volvo and bolt it into a focus....that means a speed 3 engine and transmission works in all three cars , or a 5cyl or svt or a St or whatever you want 😎...you want 5 bolt hubs on a gen 1 focus with giant brakes? Bolt some Volvo r design knuckles on your struts....they are all very modular...thanks ford😉

The older Focus RS is an awesome car, in green of course. Newest you can buy in the UK is 2011, and you will pay at least £20k for one even at that age.
I would buy it for that price.

The Duratec engine used in the MK2 Focus RS is based on Volvos B5254T3 modular engine but it has lower compression due to different pistons. It has also stronger connecting rods, same geometry camshafts as B5254T4 but different (dual) VVT units. It uses a bigger Borg-Warner K16 turbo instead of the K04 and it slightly outperforms the K24 used on the B5254T4 S60R/V70R engine.

I think the 5 cylinder is a really good engine and the lv rs is a great looking car but the front wheel drive just throws me off buying one. it's ok factory power bit anymore I think will be a hand full for the chassis.
Don't be turned off for the fact it's a fwd. I've owned a lt st for 3 years and everyday it brings a smile to my face. The torque steer is half the fun 😂
have you done any performance mods of us your LV or is she still factory . I've spoken to rs specialist and they gave me a power figure and said that's it and that was also upgrading to a quaife upfront. he basically said they just can't handle too much power. torque steer may be fun at first but if you put more power through it then your just wasting money because the power just won't get down. so as a factory car great.
@@cenzofrisina6517 I have an LT which is the pre facelift model not much difference between the 2 just a few exterior changes. I have a rs intake, full 3 inch turbo back exhaust with a decat, r sport stage 3 intercooler, rs clutch, fuel pump, injectors and a tune. Aswell as handling mods of front and rear sway bars, shocks and springs and slotted discs and Bridgestone re003 tyres all round. It's a wild ride but I love it to pieces I fell in love with the MK2 the first time I laid eyes on it so I started saving and as soon as I was able to get my licence I got one. I wanted to keep it stock as long as possible but that never happened haha

@@cenzofrisina6517 im guessing his has around 320hp. Honestly the chassis on the focus is strong and can support well over 400hp. Though a RWD version or AWD version would be amazing

Kira Yoshikage mk1 and mk3 are both 4 cylinders but mk2 is 5 pot. Much more tunable as well.

So I straight piped a Volvo c30 and it sounds the same......oh that's cus Ford and Mazda used the c30 chassis ..matter of fact that global platform is designated" c30", yeah they used different engines but the euro focus is a Volvo in disguise.
Its because for a time volvo and mazda belonged to ford its the same reason why volkswagen bought lambo so they could use their V10's or the techbology in Audi R8/RS6 so in fact theres nothing wrong with it its like saying vw passat skoda octavia and audi a4 all use the same platform - yes, because it is belonging to 1 concern
