I can say that there really should be more FAQs on the website and with this video imbedded. This is a VERY new process for me and many others and although the extreme ATF wait times are uncontrollable by Silencer Central, there should be a LOT of emphasis placed on the amount of time the entire process can take. I personally ordered my can at the end of December and through getting my fingerprints received my friend were submitted to the ATF at the end of January. The customer service and process isn't horrible, yet could be a better and hopefully with my next can it will be.
Ordered my item back in November of 2020. 317 days ago. Received my text on Tuesday September 21st 2021 without any further updates or notifications. Honestly I’m highly disappointed at this lack of priority or speed. I went through other SOT FFLs and was able to use their products that day for less. Buyers remorse is an understatement.
I’m going through the same bs with them. I was approved May 28, June 23, still no can. 368 days for approval. No excuse imo. They’ve forgot who the customer is.
Don't worry, it takes just as long for your second or third silencer...The atf gets their money pretty quick though!
Yeah and silencer central collects interest on all that money for the year it takes!!
Got my text and email today saying I was approved by the ATF, immediately after that I received an electronic 4473 to fill out and sign, Feels good something positive happened today, I’ve spent the last month cleaning up after hurricane Ian came right over me. Nice surprise today.

Same here, Sanibel for me. Hope you're getting on ok now. I'm only 2 months on 1 supressor and a few weeks on my second. Sadly I know I'm in for a long wait.
Can I copy the forms I need to keep with the suppressor and maybe laminate them to protect them? What have others done to maintain the paperwork?
So after you're approved, what time frame are you looking at to actually receive your suppressor in hand?

My local ffl told me they’ve been seeing 12-16 week approvals on form 4, instead of the usual 8-12 months it’s been. Have you seen this time frame at all with your silencer sales?!
I’ve been seeing 130-150 days recently
We have seen it speeding up, no one complains if the approval arrives early.
I had a secret clearance in the Army that is still valid and I just confirmed this morning at 306 days...I think they are full of crap.
240 days and counting. Almost forgot about it until this video popped up in my feed.
Ha. Yea, 210 days and counting and then add the wait on top of approval.
Bought 2 suppressors on November 20th 2021 and received an email today saying “Your application is currently being reviewed. Attached you will find a copy of your trust”. So I guess Silencer Central is reviewing it before the send it out. From a few of these comments I figure it’s going to be a long time till the next email.

I guess I’m in that 7 day waiting period where you have to contact the local Po Po on the silencer. Because I’ve already been approved by the ATF, damn it man!

@@fromdowntown2963 Yes it is frustrating, but I finally got both of my cans in the mailbox, but the tracking never showed that they were coming.

How long you been waiting? Just curious. I'm at 12 months on one. And 11 months on the other one.
I order one.. if I get it with in 6 months, I'll get another one. If this take a year or more. I'll go with someone else's for that second one... I'll hopping to get a text or email sometime in February 2023 ...
The amount of time it takes to get your suppressor approved is wholly dependent on the ATF. It makes no difference what company you buy from and use to submit the application.
Bull crap!! I got approved 9 days ago I called customer service and told they still have not sent the info to my sheriff. And know they telling it will be about 15days. The crazy thing is I work at RANGE USA as operations manager at one of the top stores in the US for our company. It will be hard to recommend them after this. We have a scilencer shop kiosk in our store and I ordered a griffin armament about the same time and I already have it was approved about the same time.
I was approved last week by ATF and still have not been contacted by silencer central. I spent alot of money on my first can using silencer central, waited 9 months for approval, finally get approved and not a word from your company!! I still have to get the 4473 form sent to me signed and sent back along with the 7 day mandatory wait. I just love waiting another month after waiting 9 from the ATF. I have sent several emails, used the contact us on the website, I keep calling but after along hold it forces me to VM. I tried contacting my salesman, who was on it like no tomorrow to get me sold and now nothing.
Yikes these dudes got horrible reviews seems like they are the only ones doing this
