"Braking a little earlier than I would otherwise due to cold tyres" - brakes later than I do on warm tyres and hot lap fuel 🤣🤣
On that final chicane I just don't understand how Will can brake so late and still maintain control and not overheat his brakes getting down into first gear for the first corner is beyond me. I always I mean always brake just after or at the line on the track there any closer and I overshoot the entry every single time.

It’s all in the trail braking technique. The tyres can only handle a certain amount of load so you need to ease off the brakes as you turn in or you will lock up and overshoot.

I was watching the telemetry overlay, I suspect that Will really reduces the brake pressure as much as he can stand because it looks like he's going full 100% pedal most of the time (with obviously very good trail braking) crazy good technique.
This set up is absolutely mindbending! Talk about immersive!
An immersion suggestion: turn the spotter to false in the configuration file. Turn opponent & external engine sounds to 100%. Install Dolby Atmos to increase the spatial awareness of the other cars. This works great also with headphones.

I’m one of your Patrons and I don’t think I’ve commented on your videos before. The camera work you’ve done is perfect! It’s hard to tell it’s not a real live race, and the replay’s just add to the immersion. I actually found myself leaning in during the exciting times when you were making passes. This is hands down some of the best videography you’ve put out. All your content is great, but this just felt next level and had to give kudos. Absolutely well done, Will & Tom!

Absolutely brilliant 👏👏. I've tried the McLaren before - I sure I used the standard setup, but softened the rear springs slightly & softened the anti roll bar too. 👍👍.

SPa is just such a great, competitive circuit. The design makes racing fun because that last turn works as a compression to allow racers to catch up.

Man, I just started to get a little serious with sim racing. But this looks so awesome! For me now I'm either to impatient when I can overtake and just go for it or I chicken out way to fast because I don't want to screw up someone's race. And also, for some reason when I follow someone pretty close, my brain just stops working and I make a ton of mistakes. But this wheel to wheel racing is what my end goal is!

Great race! Tyre pressures are way better this race. Could use a couple tenths of pressure on rear but you were in the range this time. 😁. The new studio is AWESOME! Really enjoying this series.
