But you gotta be great all multiple things to be an all star and Lou is only good at making difficult shots at a high volume but a poor defender and not so good at anything else. His play style is meant for short scoring bursts when we need a bucket quick and that's best when he's on the bench. People put too much pride in being or not being a starter it's ridiculous. As long as they're winning games when they use Lou on the bench is all that matters

I'm an avid Lakers fan and overall basketball fan. Those years with Doug Collins as coach were such great years for the Sixers, so much talent. Fun to watch and root for, as it up'd league wide competition.

People would be shocked at the talent Philly gave up on to start the process. The players are known today but back then they were stuck in a cycle of forever being a 6-8 seed. Jrue Holiday, Thad Young, Andre Igoudala, N. Vucevic and Evan Turner were just some of the players before they decided to start the process.

That same year, he dropped 40 on my cousin and his team! Years later hes been drafted and he still has a home in atlanta. I was a club promoter a while back and used to see him at events all the time. Even had a few convos with him. Years after that (maybe 2015) i was managing a car wash and he stopped by to detail his car. He obviously didnt recognize me, but it was still dope. A really good guy and down to earth. I wish him nothing but success.

Had the pleasure of watching this guy Lou Williams in person his senior year of high school! It was only one game but I knew from the first watch he was a problem! He played against Monta Ellis who is like a GOD down here in little ol Mississippi...when I say those guys went at it man i had never seen anyone give Monta a problem in high school cause he was jus that great but this guy Lou gave him all he can handle...i think Monta dropped 46 points on em but Lou was was right there with him with about 34 points...the game was a classic and this comment has nothing to do with this interview so don’t bash me lol jus happy to see Lou still getting buckets after watching him before his run in the NBA got started 😎

@Daniel Harper Rick only has one ring in how many years? Also check both of their records and how many times he missed the playoffs compared to Doc. Look at how the pistons won in '04 after getting rid of Carlisle for Larry Brown.
I would say yes, only reason I say so is because when he took over the CP3, Blake, Deandre team and added Reddick, other role players, the result wasn't much different from when Vinny Del Negro coached them (both regular season record and playoff results). But he could change that perception from how well he's done this season
