Ever since I got this 2011 BMW 335i xDrive M-Sport it has something missing. What was missing is a good sound note coming from the back. Not only did it not sound sporty enough, but it actually had a horrible drone at higher speeds due to the mufflers being cut out by the previous owner. I chose to install this COBB Tuning exhaust system. It's a full cat-back system that replaced the resonator, mufflers and the exhaust tips. It's made of stainless steel and looks and sounds great.

Needs to be louder but it sounds good
It's hard to capture how it sounds on camera without having wind noise or distortion. It's a little louder in person than in the video, but still not overly obnoxious. They do sell a 'race' version of this without the muffler, it's just a straight pipe. If I get bored of this or if this video blows up, I'll get it and do a comparison. Thanks for watching.

Btw im just curious as i dont know, how do people just do straight pipes without any problems with the police? Isnt straight pipe illegal almost everywhere?

No problem here as long as you have a catalytic converter. You may get stopped if it’s stupid loud, but if you have a turbo engine it won’t be thatbloud
Sounds great brother! Wonder if you could set up the cut outs to open only at full throttle. Think it’s possible to code in?
That'd be pretty cool! Not sure how I'd do that though, I'd have to tap into the DME and then somehow relay that to the remote. Good idea, though!

I have the JB4 in my 550, I wonder if there is a way to add a signal from that module? Maybe I will send them an email about it and see what they can help us with. I am sure it would have to be a cutout with a wired option.
