Lol I was about to type the same.. best way a n54 will sound perfect is single turbo and a vibrant resonator single exhaust
@@yendryperez8583 yeah, single turbo seems to be the only way to get an N54 to sound good. I honestly didn't like any of these in this video. Has that ugly raspy sound at higher RPM and under deaccelaration. For me the N55 sounds so much better. Shame they aren't as potent in terms of tuning.
@@DanielStancex lol. Only way to sound good. Please bro most e90 will gap anything with 4 cylinders or 6. A lot of v8’s. Unless your an Ls guy and like the choppness of v8’s. Straight 6 sound better then 80% of anything that out there. Those pops and bangs. Any car guy can appreciate that ….

Most E90s will not "gap anything with 4 or 6 cylinders and alot of V8s". SOME will.
I like straight-6 engines alot, but the N54 sounds horrible, with the exception of those who have been single turbo converted.
And no, the pops and bang tunes that everyone runs now sounds fucking terrible. And I can assure you ALOT of people agree with me on that. It's mostly IG clout chasers that enjoy that shit.
Combine N54 with pops and bangs and you got yourself some fine ear torture.
@@DanielStancex maybe I should have said e9x with n54/55 platforms. And I guess everybody has they’re preferences. You entitled to your opinion. The ones that sound horrible are ones with just straight pipe. No res/muffler.
ATM sounded nice it’s a solid second. The BMW PE exhaust is by far the best hands down

Can we get a 135i vs 335i comparison?
In other words, single exhaust vs dual exhaust. I'd like to hear the difference in tones. I have VRSF downpipes with 2nd cat delete and non performance stock muffler and is kind of loud. But is loud between shifts only.
135i has an N55

Great collection of vid brosiff, I like the Borla the best but the BMW performance wasn’t half bad. I still like my muffler delete sound though, think it will get better when I get my VRSF downpipes!

Eisenmann & ATM were good. Dinan should've been on here. I have a stage 2 dinan exhaust for my e60 m sport n54. Love it. & finally came back around to add more for the car have down pipes i can't wait to get on the car hopefully before the summer ends

The BMW performance one is definitely the best. Rich, tasteful and subtle. My 1.1 Kia and 320d sound far better than those others
got that one, catless dps too, was thinking i could get more sound and than i heard the others, comes at a great cost of taste
@nathanpiper1346 quality > loudness. I have an M54 and keeping it how it is. You just have to wind the window down to take in the rich sound

I just strait pipped mine thinking it was a good idea now I regret it sounds like a broken Honda lmfao gonna put some resonators by vibrant ultra quiet hopefully that makes it sound better
I have mine with a muffler delete and cat delete but left the resonators and in my opinion it sounds really nice
The muffler delete sounds nothing like any other deleted I've heard sounds awful
