Calla lily is a poisonous plant.It is cultivated as an ornamental. Soil should be rich and fertile type in organic incorporating organic content such as well rotted manure of humus in a loan that contains clay,silt and sand.

Lilies are cut flowers.Theyvare easy to arrange and can last for upto two weeks in a vase.Planting callas in a cutting garden allows you to grow a wide range of different colours and have plenty of flowers for banquets
Calla lilies last for many years most go dormant in fall and come back in spring.
