- Nearly 600 days after Australia closed its international borders, Qantas commercial passenger flights have taken to the skies to reconnect Australia to the rest of the world. See the first moments of family and friends being reunited.
Now THAT is how friends, family and loved ones should always be greeted on arrival!
Agreed! To be honest, I'm very happy for them so yeah!
Excellent! Can’t wait for our international Qantas holiday. ✈️
I’m so envious, good on you Australia. Thank you Qantas!
Very glad to see , families reunited!
❤🎉 Greetings from Papua New Guinea Lae City to you all employees from Qantas Sydney Australia Head office.
Sydney is my favourite city
so happy for them :) cant wait for me to be there in march
I’m at home, never left the farm👍
This is how freedom is won through sacrifice and science.
Amen!
@Welcome to the New normalHow dare you hijack 'freedom' and use our brave ANZACs to peddle an insidious alt-right/anti-vax ideology!
Prepare to feature as part of a pandemic exhibition in museum's around the country.
cant wait to get back in the air!
I'm so excited to travel on a Qantas plane to Perth next year with my roomate Shaun
Thank you.
Miss you so long, Australia!
Absolutely Great👏💐🎈
Love Qantas! By me from Libya 🇱🇾
I want to ✈️ home as soon as possible. It's been a while and haven't seen my family.
I have a simple solution. U can see your family thru Skpe. Simply set-up an account & your other half do the same. It's better than nothing.
I’m the second person to watch this video!! Aloha QANTAS!
Most may watched it on facebook since it was posted on Facebook about 2hours ago and a hour before posted on CZcams.
@@KazMcGinnisStrangerThings True but I don’t do Facebook. CZcams is for me. CZcams and CZcams only.
@@nathanhiga1783 I am not sure is Qantas has a r u m b l e account. That will widen the market to alternative viewers.
@@megasquirrel7944 true…
Time to travel again. Wooohoooooo!
I know Qantas will ignore this as well, but is there a way to contact Qantas, I have been trying for 4 months .
Wow. Man super cool
Welcome home to Australia 🇦🇺
We welcome everyone home
Love from United States 🇺🇸
Thank you 👍🌹
Hi Ame from Aus
welcome home to sydney everyone
CEO Joyce is a perfect example of the major issues in this country, overpaid CEO cuts lowest paid staff all while ensuring his income of more than some countries remains. Every dog has their day Joyce and yours will come
As if there is no one left in Australia to take up the role of Qantas CEO?
This is so ridiculous. I have been flying to and from the UK, from the US, all the way through this “pandemic”. Done 4 trips this year. No 14 day hotel quarantine either.
Love Qantas
I would love to see the biology tests on the masks being on such a long haul flight. Qantas should do a study on this and present the results publicly to reassure its customers on the pros and cons of mask wearing on flights.
They're fully vaxxed passengers-transmission and severity of infection is much lower than the unvaxxed.
@@pandemicoftheunvaccinated5367 The argument is not vaxed or unvaxed. It is breathing into a mask continuously for a long period of time. What pathogens and bacteria and other virus (if any) are growing in such proximity to your mouth while you breathe. This is a good exercise for Qantas to test, examine and research, for the safety of their passengers.
@@megasquirrel7944 COVIDaside….
Japanese have worn masks on flights for decades… I started doing so a few years ago and it made a big difference to me personally. Any overnight flight between Japan and Australia is 8 hours plus (expect Cairns)… and after I started wearing mask I no longer arrived with a sore throat, runny nose, dry mouth and/or caught a cold etc. It made sleeping on an overnight way better. I felt way better at 6 am when arriving in Australia. Humidity is very low in most commercial jets and a mask really helped over come this. On the day flights between Australia and Japan I didn’t need a mask, as I was drinking water regularly as enjoyed the view of the Barrier Reef and PNG before watching moves for the remainder of the flight.
Masks are really no large deal. Lots of us simply wear them below the chin and it doesn't lead to the Gas Chambers.
@@pandemicoftheunvaccinated5367 We really don't know if they are really vaccinated. They may have faked the jab
❤
QANTAS: (Taiwan, China) ......incorrect
I wish I went to Australia
@@davidhanak8966 What absolute rubbish.
Shame on you for even saying so.
Australia is a beautiful country, but has an authoritarian government which reflects badly on the good people of Australia, it’s beautiful landscape and unique animals.
Oh, i don't think so, sonny. This country has endured such hush & horrendous lockdowns and a myriad of innocent people fined because of tyranny governments & abusive cops. The economy is going to be very hard to resurrect.
@Welcome to the New normal Yes, a one way ticket out. The river of no return.
GT Force music should put in…

If only it were like that over west. We’re still in Marks fortress of doom.
Drop the mask mandates.
Ah yes the great Australian government “Qantas”
When public companies participate in global Fascism.
Being an Australian and being subject to Qantas management's total disregard for it passengers (I'm not talking about the staff and crew) I can say that after over 50 years of flying many airlines around the world, Qantas is by far one of the worse airlines in the world. Qantas will cancel scheduled flights with little notice and defer refunds for months on end. Qantas management's and treatment of passengers is a disgrace. I will fly any airline other than Qantas, including while flying in, to and from Australia. This is from someone that built a million frequent flyer points and has flown Qantas many times, in economy, business and first class. Qantas is one of the worst airlines in the world.
@Johann Pretorius i obviously agree with you, but why do you feel that way or have that opinion?
@Johann Pretorius lol wow!! I have been flying all over the world for travel and business for 40 years at economy, business, first class, and won't bore you with my long list of horror stories regarding Qantas but i agree with your entire sentiment regarding Qantas. I am also 4th generation Aussie and I can't stand the stupid smuggness of much of the projection of australian nationism, but I'm alergic to all brands of nationalism and flag waving. You could only hate Qantas like i do with that much passion with an Australian background so what are you're other nationalities and what is business these days? I ran an international oil and gas services business which required me to constantly fly throughout the middle east, north america and China and asia.
Trash the masks too. Ridiculous
