I slowly stopped watching his content but got back into it last year & I keep checking on him & Ryland now. Basically, I just always wanted Shane to be happy & a part of a good family & I feel like he really did. Ryland's whole family is so supportive, accepting, & kind. This video was beautiful but has even more messages throughout. x

This entire video was the epitome of wholesome and purity and I was legit tearing up throughout, but when your dad said "look what my boys just got me for Christmas"--I just started bawling. 1. Because he said it with the most pride-filled, sincerely heart-warming tone of voice and 2. Because Ryland is his son, but he's taking his son's boyfriend in as a son, too. It doesn't matter that Shane isn't blood, but he's someone Ryland loves and therefore he's family, and with all the homophobia in the world, and the estrangement Shane got from his own biological father, the way he's never really had a family, that broke me, because it means he has a family now.
