I love it. Its like watching kids doing Ag and metal shop projects in highschool here in Texas. Except in School we actually built things with heavy armor plate that could stop small arms rounds up to armor piercing stuff, JUST PLAYING AROUND. This thing wouldn't stop a high powered air rifle... I love that! That "helicopter" with the mortar or rocket or firecracker, (whatever they were pretending with) coming out of the tail section was solid gold! I LMAO when I first started seeing this stuff appear in their military trade shows. There's even worse out there! Its like giving a bunch of cave men pictures, some welding equipment and the same supplies a high school shop class gets and telling them to develop some mock-up military hardware they can "field" to maybe scare people into not burning down the city because it's pure bluffing. 😂🤣 This isn't even "all bark and no bite." This is "I hope we don't get invaded by the "Lord of the Flies" and the kids kill us all with bows and arrows. 🤣😂

Why this is ridiculous and funny to a degree of tragedy is because this says volume about the incompetency of their leaders both politics and industrial and how out of touch they are. Even if you compared this to earliest mechanised armoured vehicle from Civil War era of the US and WWI, you can see how ridiculous this is devoid of all practicality and real engineering but a showpiece fit for children. I do wish the best for the country and Africa as a whole but they really need to work on transparency, education, and good leaders to create positive changes.
This is not an innovation. This will get their people killed.

Entire Ghana government doesn't have enough money for developing all the things you listed. Stop underestimating the amount of effort needed to actually create a weapon of modern warfare. If Ghana is serious about developing a domestic defence industry, I'd suggest starting from basics like artillery shells, mortar shells, basic bullet proof jackets, etc.
This is funny and sad at the same time. The end result is just ridiculous, as if you asked a kid to design a military vehicle. The sad thing is that this is reality and obviously some people belive that this is how a armoured vehicle works...

The problem with that exotic skeleton is the issue that it restricts the movement of the person wearing it which enables more small arms fire from any adversary, taking away the advantage of armor. I like the sloped sides of the vehicle but the top needs to be shallower as its current design will ricoshade shells into it.
I love the outside the box thinking tho. If I was designing weaponry for smaller nations I'd focus on utilising pre existing tech not only from military industry but also private industry too. and focus on developing cheap drone like weaponry.
For example I would develop drone mines on land and sea. that can sit dormant for as long as needed and activated remotely.
