Do you have any good AirPods cleaning tips?!
i would use a cloth, toothpick and cotton swab
There is something called a clay bar for cleaning auto paint. If you have one, break a piece off and use it. I had seen a product on Amazon that appeared to be the same thing so I tried a clay bar. Pretty gross, but effective.
watch directly from 4 min time is precious save it
Wtf is up with videos like this? Just show how to clean it.
Thanks
Not all heroes wear capes. 😊 Ty x
U are a life saver thanks
Video starts at 4:00 minutes.
Thank you bro
Ty
I sure love it when the sponsor is 20% of the video
sponsorblock
@@gio1135 I have used sponsorblock since that comment
@@Blarnixthis is the type of internet story I like to hear

Also, every time you wash your hair, wash your ears out. It’ll do wonders for your AirPods.
I can’t believe more people don’t do this, I do this instinctively. Ear drops as well, twice a week as a preventitive measure.
Amazing tool thanks.
Thank you for this video!
Nothing that a toothpick with a little cotton on top cant handle
If only they made a product that was basically a toothpick with a little ball of cotton on the end. Even better, one with a ball of cotton on both ends of the toothpick.
Thanks. What does that mean for me?
@@geapgr nothing... They said the same thing albeit asking for a specific product. However, you decided everything revolves around you so thought to reply that this affects you somehow.
I don’t normally get gadgets like this, but it’s cheaper than buying wipes all the time, I’ve just ordered one, and it’s less than £10 so thanks for this 👍🏻☺️
@@lara400notoutokay. What does that mean for him?
Great video. Tool is awesome.
Is it normal to get micro scratches on the case of the AirPods Pro
completely normal. you can't stop the scratches but you can minimize it by getting a case. got some on the first day and was worried but over time you will care less about it.
You haven’t tried trade coffee? I’ll bet most people haven’t used their sponsored items. So ty for the honesty :)
Hey Jeremy! I haven't tried it -- yet! We only do sponsors we like and I am a HUGE coffee fan. I hadn't heard of them before the sponsorship came up. They're on my list to try though after doing that quiz. It was neat to see how they could cater based on how you like your coffee. I usually do pour overs, but have a standard drip percolator too!
@@AppleInsider yeah pour overs are pretty dang nice. We use that and French press
@@jeremyshearer I don't have a french presssss.... but for some reason I really want one! I mostly use the Nespresso but we visit tons of coffee shops and try different roasts -- which is what also makes Trade Coffee pretty appealing to me!
@@AppleInsider definitely try a French press. The oils come out so much with those
What’s the name of the tool?
Then how do you do clean the tool kit after?
With a tool kit, tool kit cleaner. 😵💫
Wash with water I guess
Blu Tack! 🤔
Spoiler alert: A dry soft bristle toothbrush works just as good. Just shove the bristles through the Mesh on the inside and outside, and your AirPods are as good as new. No need for stupid overpriced specialized tools you only really use once or twice.
Sad truth: I bought these, and got THE SAME RESULTS as a simple poke with tooth brush bristles. Tested were AirPods G1 and AirPods G3. Both mudded and faint to begin with, both completely rejuvenated. Yes these cleaners work, you don't need "wax softeners" and stupid metal pokey things.
Simple Crest disposable and 5 minutes of work, in case you were wondering.
Ugh, I just went straight to the info section and clicked on the link.
me scrolling down through the comments just to see if the brush works
u mispelled weird its weird not wierd
*wEIrd, not wierd ;-)
I just clean mine with an alcohol wipe at the end of each day’s use.
This works well but isn't good at getting in the grille of AirPods 1/2/3! But great for AirPods Pro!
@@AppleInsider isn’t that what the brush is for?
I feel like I still need to use alcohol to remove any germs.
The description of the product says it's for AirPods Pro
I have AirPods 3rd Generation
Hi! As you can see in the video, it will work for pretty much any earbuds! It works for AirPods 3, AirPods Pro, and any other in-ear earbuds you may have!
First
Real proud of you dork.
bro talks way too much
I really don’t understand how y’all’s ear buds are getting so filthy. Aren’t you cleaning your ears - DAILY??? If no then it’s time to improve your daily hygiene routine. PS Gross!
People like myself who wear airpods for 6+ hours a day will still have have built up ear wax in the air pods even if you shower and clean your ears consistently.
ur not meant to be cleaning your ears. only when they’re really dirty. if earwax is there that means it’s used for something.
Haha trueee!
