If you are visiting Kailua or you want to see some beautiful windward landscapes on Oahu, check out Kawainui marsh trail. It is the largest wetland in the state of Hawaii. You walk along the marsh, being a flat ~3 mi roundtrip flat path that features 4 native hawaiian wetbirds which are actually endangered!
