    Great video. Thank you. I have the Cadac chef 2. Unfortunately my first was faulty and didn’t cook evenly, however Cadac replaced it at once and the current one is excellent. However I do find it very ‘clunky’ to move about and takes an awkward chunk of space in my camper. So am considering the grill instead with its 2 burners, which also seems more stable given I travel with young children. Just a quick thought though - I’ve Just watched the Cadac own video and they said that with the grill to put the flat side of the griddle plates to face down towards the grill itself when putting them in the bag, to avoid the little legs inadvertently damaging the grill.

    Great video - thanks for the clear and honest reviews. 👍
    Do the last three options fit in their carry bags with their hoses fitted or do you need to remove the hose?

    I recently brought a safari chief 2 but found the flame very sensitive to the slightest breeze, so much so it would keep going out, I was using the triple cylinder pack, the flame was very weak, I took a video of the flame using it in my garage and took it back to the supplier who gave me a full refund , I can only assume it was faulty. It seemed a really nice piece of kit but it didn’t do the job. I am in the market for a replacement, but need to do some research.

    It would be useful if the carrier bags had backstraps.

    Hi. Do you sell the Safari Chef 2 Pro with the extra pot lid and snap fit gas fitting? Thanks.

    Nice vid. Thank you. Quick question regarding the the 2 Cook 2 : can you remove the lid in case you are using a larger pot/pan on the cooker? Cheers.

      Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry but it doesn't look as though the lid can easily be removed on this model.

    It’d be worth knowing roughly how long a canister lasts.

    what is the item called that converts it from low pressure to high pressure so you can use a disposable canister?

    Thanks! Any idea how well the heat control on this is? it seems like it's either on or off.. with these, with not heat control in between?

    • @kiravans5874
      @kiravans5874  Před 3 lety +1

      From my experience there is a small window of heat control just after you rotate the knob to turn the gas on. Beyond that it goes on full whack. You can definitely turn them down but it takes a bit of practice and experience to master it!

      @@kiravans5874 Wow! Thanks for the honesty and precision with your answer! You really get it. All of us outdoor chef's are looking for the heat control we have in our kitchens! and it must be the hardest things for these stoves to deliver. :) thanks again for the response!

      We sell a few bits and pieces. It depends what you are after:

    Grillo chef 2 is a good bbq but the bag is garbage. It lasted 2 outings, we then repaired the bag and then it fell to bits in other areas. It's very bad 👎

    How do the plastic legs hold up?

    • @kiravans5874
      @kiravans5874  Před 3 lety

      The plastic legs are spring loaded. You pull them out and click them into place and when you need to put it away again you release the catch and the springs fold the legs neatly into the body of the grill. I love mine.
